    It's just unecessary, if you need what arch has to offer than you should also be knowledgable enough to install and use the vanilla version.

      Because once upon a time the arch forums were filled with manjaro questions from people not willing or able to debug things. The questions were so bad that manjaro forums now have a reputation for demanding inxi information when you post.

    It use to be way better. The it just werks by default option. But things stopped werking.

    I ended up switching to fedora when tests were coming and I didn't have time to keep solving compatibility issues with very common dev software every week.

    I loved it and hope it goes back to just werking at some point.

    Still better than ubuntu, tho.
