>seller says he is selling x but it is actually cheaper y sold as x for brand recognition >fall for it >leave bad feedback >feedback gets removed >seller bullies me for not realizing he was selling cheaper y sold as x >report him >nothing happens
i am referring to this
Happened to me once. I returned it and farted in the box for wasting my time. Made sure to leave it til the last day to post it back while he spammed my messages asking when I was returning and saying he really needed it back to relist asap.

wtf are you talking about
what is this vague shit
wait i have an idea: only deal with reputable accounts in the first place
Too many chinks loading the site with shit you could get in your own country that you'd have to wait a month for. Filtering by region won't stop the site promoting their shit to you.
I only buy items that are sold as auctions about the expire. That way you can get a good deal and hopefully not get ripped off. But yeah otherwise sellers are a bunch of fucking retarded assholes.
>Bad web UI design >Retarded payout system where they removed instant paypal payout and now charge fees where you have to verify your debit card with bank statements or you have to wait ages to get a direct deposit >30% of your money basically gone after tax and shipping on anything you sell >Basically fucked if customer has any complaint, sellers have zero leverage and always have to refund shit because of scammers(especially on computers parts like CPU/GPU where they can lie and say it isn't working) >dirty indian brown scammers galore who leave you negative reviews if they buy something and you cancel their order after they try to pull an address swap
It's okay as a buyer but as a seller it's absolutely fucked.
Ebay selling is the biggest most over-saturated joke of a business there is.
Nobody buys shit anymore and everyone is poor, especially the people using Ebay.
Just to get a little crumb of $20, no not even a crumb, a piece of a crumb you have to jump through hoops and spend your own gas money going to the post office constantly.
The only people who make any good money on ebay are those who have 10,000 items listed.
If you want to make some real money in the service economy you're better off doing doordash where you can realistically make $170 in 10 hours of work after gas, you'll average around $160 a day usually which is my average after around 9 hours.
Plus there's no job in 2023 that's going to let you work 7 days a week 10 hours a day, and make $4,000 a month.
I was trying to order guitar picks and this guy from UK says he won't send me my picks because the postal service still goes through Russia even though I don't live in Russia lmao.

The main problem is you click an item for "$2.95" then there's actually a bunch of different options and only some bullshit no one wants is $2.95 while the thing you actually want is $16.99
All I know is that when I enter a book's name+publisher on ebay I get results for that book.
When I enter a book's name+publisher on amazon, I get the new pillow by EZsleep, a collection of silverware on discount and a couple of kindles from someone who did the author's biography
Mercari and Etsy are better, but that's if you have a legit service/product to sell and aren't just trying to get rid of shit
at that point you gotta suck up your values and go to normiebook.
>ugay
I'm not sure what you could be referring to.

They don't remove bad feedback. This never happened. Stop lying. Take your meds.
this does happen tho
wtf are you talking about

>They don't remove bad feedback.
they did and i didn't drop any gamer words or anything, i just described the item i received
Honestly my worst complaint for eBay is their inconsistent website design
I have never used ebay

skill issue
Same reason Linux is such shit: they know that no matter how bad they treat you, you'll keep coming back because you're poor.
I was trying to order guitar picks and this guy from UK says he won't send me my picks because the postal service still goes through Russia even though I don't live in Russia lmao.

anybody know why ebay results pages take like 20 seconds to finish loading? anybody know a fix?

garbage combined listings
just try searching from ram and order by price, it's an incomprehensible mess

It's garbage, use facebook marketplace instead to buy and sell shit.
>$30 shipping for 500km worth of travel
a joke
