Check the archive. It’s literally on the top 100 every year, you newbie. Just because you just discovered Mann does not mean you can shit up this board
There used to be an anon who shilled JAHB all the time a few years back. I read the Jacob section but dropped it during Joseph’s first chapter. I didn’t really care for it
He generally didn’t go in to depth often. He mostly name dropped it. Still, you can still love a book and not be able to write a dissertation on it. Sometimes you just plain like a book. You used to be able to recognize anons by the more niche books they were into but I haven’t seen many lately. IQfy is just one large anonymous group. Few are recognizable
Plenty of people on IQfy have the patience to read Mann and the reading comprehension skills to understand him. He's not a particularly difficult author and every winter there are many Magic Mountain threads on IQfy.
I got a nice old used copy from a bookstore and thought the first twenty pages were strong, set it aside and forgot about it for a bit and was deciding recently if I should read it, flipped to the middle and observed with a growing feel of picrel that they were having a completely banal and apparently never ending political discussion of some of the most asinine global issues of the time. Let's just say I decided: no.
You all have fun tho.
>why is a tiny atlantic canadian waterpark not discussed on IQfy?

IQfy doesn't have the patience to read this or the comprehension to understand it, let alone discuss it.
Be grateful you can at least find some people to discuss this with here, I've never found anyone else who read Joseph and his Brothers.
Because I'm poor to get a physical copy and I just read on paper. I-I would like to read The Buddenbrooks too. ;___;
It's literally 4 dollars dude

It was super popular like 7-8 years ago
