They didn't take the girls surfing, they took them to the beach with a guitar and a convertible. The guys are going to rape them if they don't willingly put out. Those guys are absolutely getting laid one way or another.
The guys on the surfboards are hoping to take them far enough out that they can finger each other's butthole without anyone seeing.

Don't forget high fructose corn syrup being in the vast majority of food and drink. It's cheaper than sugar because of how much corn the US grows and it's also much worse for you than real sugar. Animal fats and real butter are also better for you than vegetable oils and fake butter. In the 1990s everybody switched from animal fats to vegetable and corn syrup in everything. Everybody is now fat as fuck.

Yeah but it is not common.

Did you really need to read and write all that shit and watch videos to know that processed food is bad for you?

No, but you should learn what you eat does to your body.
Even organic foods can have issues.
          Rice tends to collect arsenic.
Fish can build up in mercury
Various meats are associated with higher risks of heart disease.

Also if I didn't care how food works, then I would be a bad engineer.

          [...]

Deliberately avoiding unhealthy foods and exercising requires knowledge and willpower, but most people are feeble minded and ignorant so they get fat instead. There's a reason why LULZ is one of the highest IQ boards on this site.

Even squirrels are getting obese now from eating human food like donuts.

            >Various meats are associated with higher risks of heart disease.

Pro tip: it's the fat from the red meat, not the red meat itself that's associated with heart disease. Get lean meat if you can or if you can not, make soup by boiling meat and then all the fat will float to the top.

Having too much butter or beef fat makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack, so there's probably something to the "saturated fat is bad" thing. Saturated fat is unavoidable- but should be limited.

The myth started with a single study from the 60s by a fucking woman no less, and she even lost her tenure over it because she was caught lying trying to cover up how flawed the study was. I forget her name because I don't give a shit, the takeaway is all I cared about enough to commit to memory. College level nutrition classes to this day (as of a year ago when my wife took hers) still refer to said study in spite of this. It's absolutely mind boggling just how fucking stupid most people are.

                Anonymous

The irony is that saturated fats are actually pretty mundane when not eaten to excessive levels.
Really the worse are hydrogenated polyunsaturated fats. Which is basically margin and ironically has been used before to substitute butter and even passed off as "healthier".
Despite the fact there is so much evidence that hydrogenated polyunsaturated fats are going to clog up your arteries at a much higher rate than saturated fats ever could.

Frankly women should be staying at home taking care of the children and growing chubby. They should not be telling us how to eat especially if they can't make a half decent study that isn't even repeatable.

                >The irony is that saturated fats are actually pretty mundane when not eaten to excessive levels.
I think even "excessive levels" are fine as long as you're active and keep carbs low. High carb + high fat seems to fuck people up. When I did carnivore for 90 days my cholesterol was high but my hdl/ldl ratio and triglycerides were fantastic and my blood pressure was lower. But I was also running 3 days/week and lifting 6 days a and had a RHR of 45 at the time. Looking at nutrition alone without factoring in genetics or activity level is a dead end and it's the main reason most people are confused and constantly arguing about this shit.

    The food is poisoned, idiot.
High fructose corn syrup, white bread, processed meat, canned vegetables, frozen meals. Do you have any idea what that shit does to the human body?
Never mind the fact that a great deal of people are either too broke to afford decent food or work 12 hour days and do not have the time or energy to do anything different?
The worst part is the fact that this spirals. You eat the poison because you don't have the time or money to do something different. Then because you don't have the energy to cook, you eat the poison again. And so on.

                $4/meal, 3 meals/day = $12/day or $360/mo for food for one person.

If you really think that $360/month is some kind of impossibly low food budget then you're just retarded. I could eat carnivore on that budget easily and eat well at that. I could eat a normal diet for half of that. I could survive on a quarter of that and still eat better than most fat fuck Americans. You're just stupid.

I live in Alaska. I work ~40 hours a week. I get most my food from Costco and Fred Meyer(Kroger). Beef is ~$4/lb at Costco. That's 1140 calories. So for argument's sake, let's use the most expensive diet, carnivore. I could eat nothing but beef and get 3420 calories/day for $12/day, hypothetically speaking. I don't need 3420 calories, so I could go to grass fed beef for about $4.50/lb and still be fine.

Realistically I'd probably only get half my calories from beef and the rest from much cheaper milk, eggs, cheese, chicken, pork, and organ meat, giving me more variety still giving me some money left over. That's not even counting supplementary good from hunting and fishing.

If you cut that in half again and replace half that diet with rice, potatoes, and vegetables, it's even cheaper, leaving some extra room for some fruit. So pretty much any way you cut it, $12/day is more than enough to eat well as long as you aren't a dumb ass and don't buy stupid expensive shit you don't need or eat out.

I don't really look at what I spend, but in practice I think my food costs me around 9 dollars a day. Although I am often cheat and get something from the fish store across the street which is expensive as fuck. I like my salmon or herring sandwiches. So it's not uncommon for some days to randomly go up to 15 usd. But that's the exception.

You'd be surprised. Carbohydrates are very metabolically expensive. Many animal products are much more rich in micros than the data available from the USDA. Some vegetables interfere with absorption or other activity of specific nutrients and people only eat them because they think they need them for specific nutrients which you can get more easily from meat. K and spinach is a good example. K1 is shit. Your body can't use it. It takes a massive amount of K1(plant sources) to make the bioavailable K2 (animal sources) your body actually needs. The process that converts K1 to K2 uses up other macros, and the oxylates in dark leafy greens prevent your body from properly mobilizing calcium and other minerals. I could talk about this shit in great detail for weeks but I've done it too many times and don't care anymore. Experiment, do blood work, figure out what works for you and fuck everything you think you know until you confirm it yourself. Almost everything that is common knowledge about nutrition is a fucking lie. It's why everyone is so fat and unhealthy.

I know what ultra processed food does but saying its the vegetable oil and the fructose syrup in soda is to blame takes the blame off from the consumer. Soda only makes you fat when you drink a lot of it. McDonalds only makes you fat when you eat a lot of it.

Well. Go ahead and blame the consumer for being a fat lazy slob.
But you really can't ignore the fact a lot of foods are really bad for you. Diet is more important than exercise when it comes to being at a healthy weight.

So for example, High Fructose Corn Syrup has to get processed in the liver, gets converted directly into adipose regardless of metabolic needs, and desensitizes the brain to other sugars, causing the person to crave more sugar.

Vegetable oils often are oxidized when consumed or oxidized in the body acting as a carcinogen and also tend to have strong intermolecular forces causing them to clump up to each other in the blood stream, especially if they are hydrogenated. We call them transfats. Literally eating butter is healthier when you compare it to what it does inside of your body.

And Monosodium Glutamate is a salt and a drug that a lot of processed food and fast food (McDonalds has it in everything including their coffee which is why it tastes so good). And basically MSG on it's own is not bad. But what it does is rapidly enhance the flavor of the food by like a magnitude of 2 to 3 so it tastes much better than it actually is, but also has the added side effect of making you feel hungry in about 2-3 hours later. Perfect for a snack company or fast food company to put in their food actually.

You really can't just say "processed food" without actually talking about in what ways it is processed and how it affects the food. Nutritional science is not as complicated as it seems once you simplify it and understand some basic chemistry.

There are so many sugars and sweeteners out there and they are not created equally.

Tl;dr... nobody in my life ever told me that living from processed snacks was going to be healthy. In fact its been the opposite. My whole life everyone told me meat and fruit and vegetables were healthy.

no sugar "hits people like a drug", especially not fructose, which is extremely important for optimal human health
you and everyone else in this thread should read this immediately: https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/sugar-issues.shtml
                some excerpts:
                >In 1874, E. Kulz in Germany reported that diabetics could assimilate fructose better than glucose. In the next decades there were several more reports on the benefits of feeding fructose, including the reduction of glucose in the urine. With the discovery of insulin in 1922, fructose therapy was practically forgotten, until the 1950s when new manufacturing techniques began to make it economical to use. Its use in diabetic diets became so popular that it became available in health food stores, and was also used in hospitals for intravenous feeding.
                >One of the points at which fatty acids suppress the use of glucose is at the point at which it is converted into fructose, in the process of glycolysis. When fructose is available, it can by-pass this barrier to the use of glucose, and continue to provide pyruvic acid for continuing oxidative metabolism, and if the mitochondria themselves aren't providing sufficient energy, it can leave the cell as lactate, allowing continuing glycolytic energy production. In the brain, this can sustain life in an emergency.
                >If fructose can by-pass the fatty acids' inhibition of glucose metabolism, to be oxidized when glucose can't, and if the metabolism of diabetes involves the oxidation of fatty acids instead of glucose, then we would expect there to be less than the normal amount of fructose in the serum of diabetics, although their defining trait is the presence of an increased amount of glucose. According to Osuagwu and Madumere (2008), that is the case. If a fructose deficiency exists in diabetes, then it is appropriate to supplement it in the diet.

I am just saying that the threshold for death from "morbid" obesity is much bigger than people think.
Usually being obese it's self is an indirect cause unless the person is really fucking fat, often it is the diet that got them fat that I think causes the most problems than being fat it's self.

Really morbid obesity should be defined as a BMI greater than or equal to 45 or 50. Since 35 isn't really that deadly but does have an increased risk of health issues.

Literally all you have to do to reverse it is cut back on carbs and get active. I'm fucking fine now, can even eat carbs normally without issues now as long as I stay active and lean. Type 2 beetus is a meme, it's just being lazy + eating too much carbs. That's it. It's not a disease, it's a self inflicted symptom of being lazy and eating like shit.

Yes, I am aware. The problem is that everything packaged in the store is high in carbs. People don't cook anymore. That's why 73.6% of Americans are overweight and 41% are obese. Literally in 3 out of 10 Americans are a healthy weight. There is a certain point where even if the problem is that people are slobs that eat too much we need to do something about the problem anyway. The problem is only getting worse. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to 90+% overweight in my life

And we have serious issues in the first world that should be addressed. Water quality is at the top of that.
Just because we are better now than 100 years ago should not make us pretend we are without issues that need to be dealt with.

water quality is fine and every home has a filter or can easily have one added that will remove just about everything. you will never have to worry about drinking a glass of water and catching ebola or something

                I understand that.
I work in a place that sells water filters and they sell as soon as they get put on the shelf.
And at home filtration doesn't address that the source is poisonous.

Like for example the Columbia river is occasionally used for drinking water in Oregon and Washington and it is chalked full of lead from native mining corps in British Columbia.
                Fucking natives.
But you know there is a good chance that some of Portland's mental health issues is caused by that toxic drinking water that they used when Mt. Hood reservoir runs dry on occasion.

And having to use a filter to get good water should not be a necessity for drinking water.

It is honestly pathetic how bad the water quality is in the USA.

I'd go as far to say polluted drinking water is the biggest health crisis in this nation surpassing obesity, cancer, and heart disease. Because ironically toxic water will contribute to all 3.

But it goes ignored until you have water quality as bad as Flint Michigan, Fairbanks Alaska, or Midlothian Texas.

Fat can make you gain weight- because fat is dense in calories. I fell for the "fat doesn't make you fat" meme and couldn't lose weight (I ate a lot of nuts). Calories are really all that matters.

        >What's wrong with canned fruits and vegetables? Are they pumped full of sugar like your bread in the US?

Cann fruits- a lot of the time have corn syrup or fruit juice.

Vegtables, they don't add sugar but they do add a lot of salt sometimes. Frozen fruits/vegetables are almost never like this.

        Anonymous

Yes but not to the point it is the biggest issue.
The main problem are added salts and preservatives which can increase blood pressure and slow down your metabolism.

Most canned fruit does have added sugar.

I suppose you could try to use osmosis to extract that sugar and salt by soaking your fruits and veggies in purified or distilled water for a few minutes before cooking. Since the sugar and salt would give the canned produce a high osmotic pressure.

        Cheese good
        dont listen to him

        uh, let me think
80% of the protein in cheese is casein, and cheese typically contains a ton of it (typically as much as 20-30 grams of protein per 100 grams of cheese)
casein is metabolized in the body into casomorphins, which like morphine target opioid receptors; in other words, cheese can be as addictive as literal opiate drugs, such as heroin
this is because cow's milk is meant to keep a calf so addicted to suckling its mother's teats that it will grow as much as 200 kilograms in a single year, which is why cow's milk contains over three times as much protein as human breast milk
not only does cheese contain almost ten times as much protein as cow's milk, but bovine casomorphins have themselves shown to be as much as ten times more potent opioid receptor agonists
this is simply a recipe for disaster to the human body, which is why dairy is strongly associated with numerous disease related to abnormal growths, like various forms of cystitis, as well as certain forms of cancer, particularly breast cancer
also, curiously, despite what the dairy industry has been promoting for ages, namely that dairy is such a good source of calcium that it's great for your bones, countries with the highest rates of dairy consumption actually have the highest rates of osteoporosis
also worth noting is that a country like Netherlands, which used to have people who weren't any taller than other Europeans, now have the tallest people in all of Europe, likely owing to their sky-high rates of dairy consumption (the third-highest in Europe); while some women might swoon at these giants, not only is this extremely abnormal, making them suffer from a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, but they also have one of the highest rates of cancer in the world
so, you tell me, cheese bad?
obviously cheese bad, it's literally the curdled addictive opiate proteins from the breast milk of a cow, imagine ingesting that as a human

lmao, it's hilarious how dumb people are these days, brainwashed into demonizing sugar and thinking cheese is healthy
also, I didn't say protein itself is inherently bad, although too much protein definitely is, it's bovine casein in particular which is insanely addictive, and with all the fat in cheese it makes the people who are most addicted to it, which happens to be Americans, lardasses

sugar isn't addictive at all, try eating a extremely low-fat diet that's high in sugar, you'll never eat past satiation at all (I know, because I and tons of others do precisely this)
the problem is and has always been the fat, fat in large amounts has never been naturally available to humans, even when we started hunting in any significant capacity ~50,000 years ago (which is practically nothing in paleoanthropological terms, and long after we'd already evolved our current physiology) we still didn't consume much fat, the really large amounts of fat we see today started only when dairy became prominent to a larger and larger degree

at least feta is traditionally made from sheep/goat milk, so if you eat that it's certainly going to be better than anything made from cow's milk, but still not healthy, there's no point in clinging to something addictive just because you've made it part of your "national identity"
I grew up with heritage from two countries both famous for producing tons of cheese, and was extremely addicted myself, but managed to get rid of my addictions at some point and my health improved so radically just from cutting that out of my diet completely, from that point on it was pretty clear to me that I'd rather give a shit about "national identity" and focus on my health than vice versa

I think the main difference between Amerifats and us is that Dutch people are taught to eat according a certain structure from an early age. Dutch people always eat around the same time and the same foods. So if you want to eat healthily or lose weight, you don't actually have to do anything besides what's considered normal. To get fat, you have to deviate from the norm.

Also beaners and n-words and other assorted abbos react explosively to sugar. Historically they had very low sugar, low fat diets, so the sheer amount of sugar in all this slap that's advertised as food causes them to balloon up something awful. When I'm out and about in this wonderfully dysgenic multiculti-chimera of a culture, I mostly see short and extremely fat shitskins. There are fat white people too but they're fewer in number compared to all the tubby browns I see. Also it's mostly fat white women I see compared to fat white men.

I've been preaching the evils of sugar, HFCS, and soda for years.

I think the multicultural society causes norms and structures to disappear. Because when you feel like you have more options, you start to pick and choose whatever you like. And the norms disappear.

When I was a kid everyone always took two sandwiches with cheese, meat or peanutbutter to school for lunch. It's not the healthiest food, but you can't really go wrong with two basic sandwiches either. You can't eat too much or too little. And if nobody brings anything else, you just eat that.

Fat can make you gain weight- because fat is dense in calories. I fell for the "fat doesn't make you fat" meme and couldn't lose weight (I ate a lot of nuts). Calories are really all that matters.

        Anonymous

Calories determine your overall mass, sure, but macros definitely contribute to your body composition and how hungry you feel. Retards still debate high carb vs low carb vs keto vs carnivore because they don't understand that literally any of these diets can work fine depending on a person's activity level and goals.

Because most people cannot wrap their head around CICO and macros. Don't eat more than you burn and keep carb intake in line with activity level. More active = can eat more calories and carbs without any problem. If you're sedentary then a high carb diet will give you beetus even if you only eat at maintenance or even at a deficit. Just understanding these two things is all you need to not get fat or get beetus. The fact that everyone is fat or has beetus is proof that I am right and the fat beetus fucks are wrong.

They got tricked by "experts" into eating foods that are far less satiating and promote craving/ snacking. Eat "healthy grain" cereal for breakfast with skim milk on it and a glass of juice. Notice how hungry you are 3 hours later. The next day, have two eggs and two slices of bacon, or whatever the caloric equivalent is to the cereal and juice. See how long it takes before you get hungry again. Public health is focused on making money for corporations.

Seed oils. Mitochondria can't process them so they get stowed in body fat. The oil composition of body fat has also changed. These oils also oxidize and become toxic while stored in the fat tissue itself.
