I am a zoomer and I like dino jr, so does every zoomer I have showed the band to, and the appeal of the lo-fi production is usually the "vibes" of it so I have no idea what you're talking about, I'll assume you're just a le wrong generation LARPer
It lacks a certain something that elevates it to true classic status. Little Fury Things and Sludgefeast are the two that elevate it beyond being mere 80s indie rock but the rest at best only accurately predict the sound of the 90s but not much else.
Poledo is literally a hymn for every white male LULZ user lol. have you guys heard lou talking about that song? he is gotta be the most beta male of music
there's just something about them that never hooks me, I think I have listened to most of Dinosour jr and a lot of J Mascis' music once, but idk that seems to be enough.
It's a great record and Dinosaur Jr were always really good. If they ever made a bad record I missed it. Lou Barlow's non-DJ stuff is pretty good, too.
It's never going to have fanatic fans because Dinosaur Jr was always a modest band - they were loud, but they were introverted autists who didn't have a super strong image or personalities. Didn't have the voice of a generation ambition or ability. Also Dinosaur Jr is one of the stupidest band names in history, it hard to think of a dumber one, even as a joke.
Zoomers can't into dinosaur jr. Not ADHD or "vibes" enough for them or something idk

Couldn't be farther from the truth.
Because we don't discuss good music here, fuck off
/thread
because it's actually good
Little Fury Things, Raisans, Sludgefeast and Tarpit are fuckin amazing. The whole album's amazing but those four stick out to me.
the lung is the best track on the album
Tarpit is the second worst song of the album
also poledo
It's good.
for me, its out there
Out There is a great song. It's not in You're Living All Over Me, though. Another good song from the album that's in though, is Not The Same.
Where You Been is dope front to back. Even the bonus track Drawerings is good
It always been, i guess
All the 90s guitar stuff is
Sebadoh, Yo La Tengo, Superchunk, HUM, etc
>LULZcore
it's actually a great album so it's unfit for being mucore
In a Jar is the best
People forgot about this, it was LULZcore at a point
>Dinosaur Jr. TYPE BEAT

The 33 1/3 book on this is something else …. levels of autism that shouldn’t even be possible.
All-time classic album though.
Their debut album is 100x more incel. Repulsion literally sounds like negativexp in the 80s
Because it's actually good.
it was always mu core
