Because women are more concerned with the adventure of their own sexuality than with having actual relationships; because the two are mutually exclusive 'writing love letters' is a dead art.
I wrote a letter to my ex, while we were dating, and she said something along the lines of "why would I want a fucking letter, I didn't read it." We're obviously not together anymore, but I haven't written anything like that for a woman since.
When I was in school in the '90's few things were as exciting as checking my po box every day. Sad that this near 200 yr old phenomenon has only recently perished. Breaks my heart.
Are you a man or a woman? I feel like Women only like things they can post about on social media or expensive things. She never cared when I would do nice things for her, she just wanted money to do her lashes, nails, or buy more makeup. it probably hurt my relationship I had after that as well. I didn't want to do anything nice after that even in different relationships because I felt like it was a waste of time and not worth it after.
I'll start again in my next relationship now that I've written this out.
>Are you a man or a woman?
A woman, albeit not the sort that has XX chromosomes, but I certainly feel like I relate more to other women than I do to men, which suggests my nature is feminine or at least androgynous. >I feel like Women only like things they can post about on social media or expensive things.
I don't even use social media, and I'm all for cheap things. Honestly I feel kind of bad asking people to spend money on my behalf. >She never cared when I would do nice things for her, she just wanted money to do her lashes, nails, or buy more makeup.
I don't think I've ever done my lashes or worn makeup, and I've painted my nails like two or three times, ever. Women aren't a monolith.
There is no Platonic Form of the English language that dictates what a word inherently means, there is only usage. If people use the word "woman" to refer to the set "natal females who are okay with the fact that they are female and natal males who wish they were female" that is not inherently right or wrong, it just is. If you want to name a particular subset of women (those with XX chromosomes, those with uteruses, those whose birth certificates were originally marked female- and note that one of those groups perfectly overlap with each other) you can still do so.

Sophistry we aren't talking about words but the actual natural category the word refers to.
No amount of words or rhetorical tricks will make you a woman

There are contexts where biological sex is relevant, but there are also contexts where psychological gender is relevant- many trans people are in fact highly psychologically atypical for people of their biological sex. (Social gender is also relevant, and I think for the sake of being humane we should try to place people in the social gender they would like to be placed in as far as is reasonably practicable.)

It's just delusion. Disconnect between what they physically are and how they perceive themself ... Delusion.
If you want to argue indulging in a person's delusion is good for them, maybr, but why then not acknowledge that you are only play acting for their benefit. As one does with a child who lacks the full cognitive capacity and perceptiln to fully understand.

My point is that some people are psychologically highly atypical for their sex and that it's useful to acknowledge this. Like, if someone is physically female but essentially thinks like a man then it makes sense to model that person as a man when asking questions about thoughts and the actions that follow from them.

Why not the inverse? Why not ssay ot would be better to conform their thoughts to their physical reality.
It is still delusion in so far as their conception of themself does not equal their physical reality.
There are men who seem more fruity, feminine, or gay. But that does not make them women in any real way

I'm not talking about what they think about themself, but how they think. Unless you don't think men and women think differently? And you can't just change how you think by force of will.

Men and women do yes, but we were talking about men who think in an "effeminate way" not about the psychological differences between the sexes.
Again, there are men who have some effeminate ways of speaking and thinking, but they remain entirely male. And if some of those men believe themselves to be women indulging in that delusion may not be good for them

And besides, as I said I relate to other women more than I relate to men, so it's likely that my internal nature is feminine or at least androgynous even if my body isn't what's typically considered female.
people are cynic today, everything seems ruled by irony, and love expressions only exist in the rethoric sense. also, communications are instantaneous and writting a letter is senseless, not only for techinical reasons but also because people have their minds shaped by the pratical saving-time devices, so there's no more patience to read any lengthy personal reports
I follow a rule of thumb.Act as if every communication would be posted on a jumbotron. If so would it embarrass me or others?
Social media has led to an erosion in people's judgement on the past boundaries between private and public life.So heartfelt emotion can become performative or used as a weapon in a worst case scenario.
Writing love letters is gay.
Because you touch yourself at night
Feminism
kafka was goyslop of his time
People didn't read him in his time, you absolute retard. Go back, NOW.
a marvel movie script never produced is still goyslop
I stopped writing love letters in first grade, my man. They don't work because the women of today require action- not words.
I used to text my first girlfriend very lyrically but when she broke my heart I never recovered my innocence.
I wish I could but there's a scab on my heart
Because women are more concerned with the adventure of their own sexuality than with having actual relationships; because the two are mutually exclusive 'writing love letters' is a dead art.
Who writes actual and unironic personal letters to anyone anymore outside of retirement age people, actually.
I've done it sometimes, for example when my computer was broken or when I was traveling and didn't have access to a computer.
People with friends in prison

I'd definitely appreciate something like that. Hell, a good friend sent me a postcard recently and even that was terribly exciting.

What's that supposed to mean?

Right, not a woman

Shut the fuck up
Not an argument.
imagine she posts it on social media to show the world how cringe you are
Just be tall. Writing is gay.
It's cucked. Milena probably had a good kek when she read this.
>like this
You mean woe is me, you'll be miserable if you marry my wretched self but please stay with me letters?
I still write love letters and poëtry (autism)
Post some of your poetry?
Because there's a big chance that it will end up on some whore's Instagram story and you'll become a meme for the rest of your life.
Definitely a detriment; it quells the desire a moment or two after the idea suggests itself.

Because women are heartless creatures who don't give a shit and will tread on your feelings the more you express them.
modern women aren't worth it, pumped full of microplastics, hormones and whatnot and completely brainwashed by mainstream media and feminism
