People are stupid, you should do it anyway because its cool! As long as everything fits good and all the colours and fabrics are good etc etc it will be very awesome

Why would people laugh at your for wearing a blazer, it’s just a normal piece of menswear
Do you live in America or something? My condolences if so.

once you start wearing them regularly you’ll find that most if not all people won’t even mention it and if they do it’s usually to compliment you

For me wearing a suit or blazer is a work uniform. It can also be worn at nicer places and more formal events, otherwise it looks out of place. How’s my fit? Don’t mind the casual shoes.

jacket is way too long and the sleeves are slightly long
makes you look like you have weird proportions/really long torso and arms with short legs
pants are a bit baggy but could be ok depending on what style you’re going for
kinda makes you look like you work as a server at some mid-tier but tryhard restaurant

Nah length is good. Suits are supposed to cover your seat. Short jacket length is in trend for a decade or so now but is changing.

take a second look at that picture and tell me if you think that suit looks good on him
suits are tailor-made for a reason. what the hecking trend is means nothing if it makes you look like an ape

It’s more a classic 60s cut. Longer, wider lapel, baggier. I like the look of it more than a tight fitting suit personally. Also the trend seems to be shifting in that direction.

Nice hyperbole. I find the classic suit for like

looks better than wearing fashion-forward slim-fit suits like pic-related. The slim fit suit comes off very hebrew. Designers want to save on material costs so they push slim fitting clothing which looks like you’re wearing your baby brothers suit. Also, they don’t drape like a classic fit does.

yeah no duh a suit with a conservative color/pattern/cut isnt suited for casual wear… blazers and sportjackets are another story

In a city you can wear it casually outside of a city people will think you have to dress that way for work or are going somewhere fancy. Would look odd in most situations in rural mid atlantic America

          • Anonymous says:

As I think about it more, it only works in a city because people won’t know you and will think you have to wear it for work or are going somewhere fancy. They won’t realize you’re a larp.

Whenever I wear my casual blazer I get compliments. Don’t be afraid to wear what you want, people will surely react more positively than you think.

Because they dont, back then people would say why dont men dress or look like this and it is your great grandfathers style. style changes with time you moron.

its not pracitcal to dress like this anymore. thats the most honest answer there is. in our modern times, foul as they are, the line between work/play/relaxation has been blurred. thats why most ppl wear athleisure. your average person wants to be able to go to work, go to the gym, go to the restaurant, and lounge at home without the need to change clothes a lot. ppl today want maxumum versaility with their clothing.

Oh look at you, bringing logic and facts into a discussion with a geriatric millennial. Just let him drool and whine in his dotage.

    >look
    I am not a model, average +- 0.5 on the 1-10 scale.
    >dress
    I do.
Most people are simply content with following societal trends blindly instead of choosing to dress in a way that compliments their own body the best.
