1, they don't sell those here from factory.
2. you're effectively reducing the carrying capacity of your bed, so fuck that.
3. the only people who DO use them are usually have a fifth wheel.
You get treated like a commercial vehicle. Can be a problem if your trying to save money while using tole roads or parking. Or if you want to use a road or highway that is marked for no commercial vehicle allowed. I think there are some states that register flat bed pickups as commercial vehicles by default.
Americans have developed technologies that allow for the box to be contoured around the wheel wells, maximizing the space and making the pickup actually useful instead of useless like the one that you posted

We do you tard lots of people run flatbeds in the us they are like 3-4 grand for a big one.
it's a lot more convenient to only have to lift an object 2 feet to put into the bed instead of 4 feet
you can open the tailgate on them
??? the bottom of the tray is a foot above the tire, american truck beds have the bed in between the tires

Your dad opened my tailgate and filled my tray with his load last night, if you can catch my drift?
We do, or weld our own.
You need a few more trucks, man. Got a lot of open space in that driveway going to waste.
I had to move a few to the back yard so I could get things into and out of the shop 🙁
Murrisharts only care about the cab's size. Utility is irrelevant
*fills half the tray with a dog cage*
*fills the other half of the tray with BCF camping stuff*
Why would you want to have to strap every little thing you throw in there down?
>every little thing you throw in there
yes that'd be quite the inconvenience
at the one time a year that actually happens!

I would love one on my tacoma but the aftermarket ones are too expensive for something I would barely use anyways.

Also AAA will not tow you if you have a flatbed I’ve learned.
