no way this is a very big company, wouldn't see why they'd be comfortable with their internal business discussions being on display for the discord staff or anyone that compromises the discord servers

That sounds terrible. I switched to work from home in 2019 and refused to even use their hardware. I damn sure wouldn't agree to be under surveillance all day. As long as I meet deadlines and answer emails they couldn't care less what I'm doing at any given moment.

I use Discord for porn and the app on Android is brought to its fucking knees whenever it has to render a GIF. How the fuck has Discord's team fucked up that bad that the app is unusable whenever a Gif is on screen?
because everything is a web browser app now days. i fucking hate it. opening up windows terminal takes 5 whole seconds on my machine. VS code is also slow a piss.
