Why does the catholic church always give me such a bad vibe. It's just so uncanny it really feels like something evil is lurking within these walls with people who worship statues and do all these blasphemous things, which really gives me the feeling that they attract bad energy wherever they go. Anyone else feel the same? Whenever i see a catholic person holding their little baby jesus statue or virgin mary pendants it never feels like it's something good or wholesome but like its some kind of negative energy i feel they bring with them.

Nah i just find it pretty diabolical with the amount of blasphemy that goes on in there, ie cannibalizing Christ, reciting incantations like the rosary, doing rituals that have nothing to do with God or the bible, idolatry, child sex abuse, and pretty much actually believing that Jesus dying on the cross is "not enough" salvation you have to additionally confess and call your priest "father" which God explicitly prohibits, i dont know which is worse though but the child sex abuse, idolatry and blatant necromancy is the trinity of abomination your house worships. So yeah i do feel like catholics are demonic.

I'm not a Catholic, but I go to a Catholic church near my house pretty much every day of the week. I go to the masses and some days I go when it's empty and meditate for a while. I have been studying/practicing mysticism for over a decade and have studied Buddhism and Vedanta. I lived in India for 6 months at Ramana Maharshi's ashram during this time. One philosophy or practice seemed to just flow into the next. Perhaps it's just what I needed at the time. Where I'm living now the church is pretty much the only game in town. The spiritual power/presence of God is something I can not deny. While I do have my issues with the institution, I find the local church and the congregation to be quite nice. Just my two cents. Sorry for the blog post.

Jesus speaks as YHWH (the Tetragrammaton - 'four letters') in the OT. Some modern people in dubious circles added an additional letter to the Tetragrammaton creating the shaky 'Pentagrammation'. Yod-Heh-Shin-Vav-Heh, or YHShWH, which in one pronunciation comes out as "Yeshuah". Don't worry, it's only a small blasphemy...

Communion: Ritually eating the his body and drinking his blood was a ritual created by Jesus Christ himself! You cannot not do it and still be a Christian.

I like how intimidating gothic cathredals look. Catholics have top tier aesthetics no matter the style unlike Orthodox which is garbage. If anything they needed to go more brrutal and metal, the moment Catholics started acting like "proper" Christians we started losing europe to muslims.

I don't really see the church that way at all. Catholic mass always felt like a very uplifting experience. I usually feel very renewed and cleansed after taking the Eucharist and having holy water on me upon leaving.

I can understand the negative vibes when you have a lot of corruption issues and abuse coming from members of the organization but the mass itself always felt positive to me.

    Catholic church is super hardcore.
At least with israelites, (true israelites anyway), they're a lot smarter and don't force themselves and their ways onto Gentiles.

You ain't going to get none of that shit with the papists. They're hardcore. Like, "don't fuck with me or I will risk my own health and well being to kill you" hardcore. In fact, they are probably lurking LULZ right now. Waiting for some demons to exorcise. Or more soul surgeries, as usual.

Papist here to ruin your thread

Facts don’t care about your feelings and the fact is that we are the church that was established by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. If you have a problem with statues take it up with Saint Ambrose

You should consider being baptised so you can receive the Eucharist. You literally accept God into your body. Cant get much greater spiritual experience than that.

They eat the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Let that sink in for a minute.

    And that’s a good thing.

You’re right. It is our mission for the world to be united under Christ’s church as it is his will. The israelites just want salvation for themselves. You can burn in hell for all they care.

Can you specific which churches that catholic split from and what the “petty bullshit” was? There were numerous heresies in the early church ranging from Arianism, Diocetism, Nestorianism, and Monothelitism. These were all churches that split from the orthodox Catholic Church, not the other way around. Also, these were not trivial matters at all. These were heresies against the nature of Christ as God and man.

        >church like a state
Let’s see what you do when your empire collapses and the only thing keeping people together is their faith

        >invent church doctrine out of nowhere
Name one. This is what I hate about LULZ. Everyone is so opinionated about shit that they know nothing about and when you press them they can only give you vague answers to hide their ignorance.

        >were the original
You bet we are. The papal office is a direct continuation from the Sanhedrin and the chair of Moses. Christ promised that the gates of hell shall never prevail over us. People much greater than you or I have tried to destroy us but we have continued for 2000 years. God continues to show his favour for us by allowing our saints to perform miracles. There is no salvation outside of the church.

Maybe its because i can see through a lot of your bull. Your soul is probably going to burn forever and ever. And all because you couldn't accept christ as your savior, "because nobody comes to the father except through me".
      Not virgin mary
      Not st jude
      Not mother theresa
      Not your pope
      Not your "father"
      Etc.
You are a catholic though so you will always put tradition and ritual over God, as a catholic you will never be saved.

It was born in Rome, a city guarded by Samael. The literal devil and bling god himself. Christianity in general was shaped largely by people under his influence. This is not to suggest that Christianity is "wrong", but many Christians have the tendency to emphasize certain things at the expense of others in a way that it not balanced. Samael is a part of God, and being created in God's image, that makes him a part of us as well. We cannot destroy that which is part of us, but we can rise above it and not allow ourselves to be slaves to our basest impulses. This is allegorized by Christ's meeting with Satan in the desert. He does not lash out at Satan. He does not turn him into a frog or attempt to kill him. He just calmly tells him he has no power of over him. That is what we must do also.

Now this is not to suggest that Catholics are evil. No strand of Christianity gets it fully right. In order to correct this issue, we must seek to lead by example.
