Why does?

Why does IQfy hate the way Android 13 looks?
Isn't android super duper customisable? Just customise it.

It was unironically better back then even if it was shit. I miss the aesthetics of pre-Material Design era.

Yes. You fricking can. You have a setting under developer settings to scale everything down to your liking. We've had this since like android 2...

The bubbly UI reminds me of those geriatric phones they sell to old people with extra large buttons and short text so they don't miss.

It's not functional. Why the frick did israelitegle get rid of the Hamburger menu? Now I gotta play finger gymnastics to get to settings on any app.

I'm just mad it took until Android 13 for pixels to support external flashdrives/ssds with exfat. It literally only supported fat32, THIS WHOLE TIME.

it just doesnt look as smooth as ios, also i see some copying, they made the bar at the bottom the same size as the ios one but making their os look smooth like ios is too damn difficult for them! god i hate google.

Though I tend not to jump on the trends of "it was better how it was", I think there's some merit to the complaints. The readability of quick actions which now have overflow text rather than icons does seem like a large pitfall. Not to mention the additional screen space wasted for this pointless change.

However yes, it could be customized. Android ROMs often do change that area in one way or another. But that just leads to more things to change as the default isn't up to the standards of what we grew to expect.
