Why do you need more than a Raspberry Pi?

Why do you need more than a Raspberry Pi?
What important stuff can you do on a PC but not on a small single board computer?

Also the point of RPi is to have GPIO with a "computer", those pins aren't gonna suck themselves off you know

      >because i have 5
I have one that is always on and functions as a pi-hole.
I have one that is set up as a retropi.
I have on that functions as a laptop for doing work shit on when i travel.
I have one that is just laying around waiting for a use and I have another that is in the process of being set up to go on a balloon ride with a payload.
Also have my PC which I use to browse /misc/ and would be for gaming if any good games would ever come out. And then theres PC that runs a neural network predicting stock prices and day trading.

RPIs are pieces of absolute shit. The kernel is buggy as hell and the devs do nothing to fix it. Also attaching a HMDI display is always a gamble

imagine buying shoes instead of killing an animal, skinning it, making thread of it intensines and sewing your own shoes. Oh wait. You need to make the tools to hunt first.

        not really

its more like drawing the pieces of skin the way you want and paying some rice to chinese wagie to do all the shit for you

then you just saw pieces together

Power multiple monitors or use it for training neural network or inference.
Also SMT solving for vulnerability searching can't be done on a Pi nearly as efficiently.

It's good for home automation or controlling a drone though 🙂
