Instead I look at a mix of people's actual actions (aka anti-LGBT crime statistics in which blacks are the majority of perpetrators) and cultural output (like the deeply homophobic art of rap). Surveys can make for some funny anecdotes, but they are a poor indication of a populations "real" opinions.
