She is both. She would be okay with transitioning but she would see them as second class citizens and not women.

Solanas was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic. I doubt that whatever views she would have regarding trans people would have been of sound mind, let alone rational or logical in the slightest. She was prone to delusions of persecution and delusions of grandeur, the likes of which can be seem in her writings where she characterizes fictional crusades against 50% of the population, involves fantasies of genocide, murder, gruesome executions and even cannibalism. I doubt she would have been lenient, tolerant, let alone friendly towards trans people… or towards anybody at all she would consider as pertaining to what her own paranoid delusions made her describe as “the enemy” in her mind: anybody who isn’t born with female genitalia or who possesses (or possessed) a penis/male reproductive apparatus, would have been seen as part of “evil group of people” in her mind. However, it could be argued that maybe she would have, even if not necessarily acknowledging them as “real women”, lauded their attempts at “getting rid of the disgusting, oppressive, evil parts of their body”, commended their actions as “men who have understood that castration is the best way to save themselves from their putrid nature”, or something of the sort. Paranoid schizos are something man… Of course, the majority of schizophrenic people are not violent individuals, just as the majority of mentally ill people (95%+) are not criminals nor violent offenders. Solanas is simply a shit tier human being, there are issues deeper than simply blaming her diagnostic for her callousness, antisocial tendencies, psychopathic ramblings, texts filled with hatred and gruesomeness… as well as her real murder attempts (Andy Warhol, etc.).
