      They're already married to Sophia

But love is the most human emotion of all. It's what separates man from animal. Philosophers sacrifice their own humanity just so they can be wise. It's tragic.

Love of wisdom? Sounds like love of the self to me. Real love is selflessness.

        >the breeding and pairbonding instinct in a k-selected predator species is what seperates humans from animals
        No it isn't

Talk about arrogance! Love, hate, both are common to animals. 99% of human thoughts and actions are common to animals.

because their sense of order arises not from family, but society, hence they have to reproduce environmentally

(a disorder in family causes them to derive order from society instead, hence they become philosophers)

Women are prostitutes, prostitutes are impure. There's never a pure enough woman because even in the 1700s, being above 25 years old and not already married to some unpopped dicky meant either getting rich and buying a spoiled but restrained daddy's girl or getting lucky finding a woman who was not married off within her community to healthy aged, working young men.

    >loners sitting in the dark over-think things that normal people handle on the fly
It’s not that philosophers can’t get married, it’s that the type of person back then who died unmarried was also a pretentious neurotic AKA philosopher

    Kant said something like
"when I was young I wasn't wealthy enough to get married and the expenses of a wife and kid. Now that I have money and a good job and social prestige, I'm too old to get married"

But it may have been an excuse. For men in his age, getting married to a woman much younger than them wasn't rare at all.

Because women don't like debate, they like to be right all the time, and that's impossible with a philosopher
