Everyone overlooks zillennials but their experience is very different from the zoomgroid or the boommoron. they LIVED through the analog to digital transition so they have a dual way of thinking. boomers tend to only think in analog terms, wheras the zoomer thinks in digital.

            >Everyone overlooks Xennials (the mini generation between GenX and millennials born 80-85) but their experience is very different from the groidlennial or the Xmoron. they LIVED through the analog to digital transition so they have a dual way of thinking. Boomers and Gen X tend to only think in analog terms, wheras the Millennial thinks in digital. Zoomers aren’t part of the equation because they’re not even human beings and are objectively worse than even boomers in literally every conceivable way.

First wave zoomers are 26 at oldest

        t. 97 first wave zoomer

nah, first wave zoomers are from 97, they’re 26, anyone older than that is a millenial

yup, it’s interesting though because "zillenials" (first wave zoomers) are in this odd purgatory where they don’t really fit with millenials or stereotypical zoomers because their formative years where in that odd transitional period in america’s culture and sensibilities

We can remember 2000s internet when it was good and watched it all decline in real time from 2012 onward (I’m aware it was probably getting shittier earlier according to older people here and I won’t dispute that but 2012 was definitely the final nail)

Anyway these people look stupid I don’t understand their fashion sense, probably a result of the aforementioned odd developmental years environment

        • Anonymous says:

you’re thinking of Xennials that don’t fit in with Gen X or Millennials due to growing up in that odd transitional period of the actual huge shift in society (pre and post internet/smart phones)

Oldest zoomers are born in 1999 so theyre like 25 now, but zoomers do dress like that but I think most mullet enjoyers are in their late 20s

    • Anonymous says:

First wave of zoomers are almost 27 right now. There is very little difference between younger millennials and elder zoomers.

I am not a hecking zoomer dickhead
Don’t ever argue that people my age are zoom zoom gaygets
I ain’t no damn millennial either, we’re different, we’re special and unique
On to their own we are
        Now heck off

        • Anonymous says:

nah the only special and unique non-generation are the people who are 38-forty something right now, a special and unique ghost generation, not millennials and not GenX but a sort of in between. There is not in-between millennial/zoomer lost generation like that. It’s a hard divide. Everything you associate with your lost generation is just zoomer to everyone else gay, unlike the lost generation in between GenX and millennials which IS unique and special

          • Anonymous says:

            > which IS unique and special
Not at all. You think you’re special, Gen X knows it’s not.
You’re fully millennial. You probably like Nirvana and think its acceptable for men to cry.

          • Anonymous says:

ironic considering Gen X are objectively just Boomers and objectively not unique, special, cool, or important. The X in Gen X is for eXtended boomer generation

          • Anonymous says:

every generation’s fashion and sensibilities is special until they hit your jaded "development" milestone and become culturally stagnant

you have grown up and become set in your ways
maybe you discarded the correct fashion failures of your days that were never going to be more than a fad, maybe you still wear parachute pants, who knows
either way your fashion sense is dead, you’re just yelling at kids now out of a deluded sense of right to gatekeep the scene when you’re the real outsider at this point

Generations aren’t personality types. They just describe the different events that people grew up through.
        >silents lived through wwii as kids
        >boomers were a hegemonic force in the 50s and 60s
        >X grew up in the shadows, and nobody understood them
        >millennials lived through Y2K and 9/11 as kids
        >zoomers are too young to remember the pre 9/11 world and too old to be traumatized by the coronavirus etc.
        >gen alpha grew up with YouTube kids and will more than likely be severely stunted by the lockdowns and masking
It doesn’t make sense to list the generations as a series of arbitrary dates.

I’m nearing 27 now and as he was saying 9/11 and stuff
I remember that on TV and I remember all the hate people had for those little dune coons and the sense of danger the world had
I also remember how dark and depressing the 2000s seemed, maybe that’s my own personal thing but they didn’t have the sheen so many zoomers like to bullshit in their minds about
I can look back and see it as a very juvenile angsty time sure, but either way there was a sense of something real low back then, and 2008 didn’t help
Zooms saw 2008 as oh no my daddy didn’t get me an Xbox 360
I saw it as oh shit how are going to survive the next quarter

          >I swear this shit changes every other day
Not quite every other day but yeah the hecking boundaries between generations is something that’s only established after a society has started recognizing that the youth culture has developed some trends of its own, so they start giving looks or habits different names. Then a bunch of random authors compete to publish a book that coins the term we’re all supposed to use, as well as sets a stricter and relatively arbitrary time bracket for who does and doesn’t qualify as part of that generation. It’s all just some dumb branding exercise for book deals and marketers to drool after, which is too bad because there are real psychological differences between generations of people who experience different technologies, tragedies, and political rulerships in their youth.

Kurtis Conner, Danny Gonzales, Drew Gooden… All of these guys were former viners who transplanted onto YouTube, so they had to diversify their content and brand to keep the teeny-bopper retention train rolling.

Kurtis is the former emo "bad boy" archetype who is ethnically ambiguous but still comes across as a cute White boy.
Danny is the Hispanic White goody-two-shoes who is clean cut and kind 24/7 but seems suspiciously self-aware of it.
Drew Gooden is the "attainable" hebrew nerd, objectively a dork but because he is funny and his girlfriend parades him around, women want him.

These guys are ultimately pedophile grifters but that’s a topic for another day.

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t mind Danny and Drew though. They’re entertaining enough, even though they always stay in the safe lane of comedy.

Kurtis does add his politics in his videos, which always falls flat because he only believes in his ideology to be more likable to his zoomer audience. So it always comes across as disingenuous because it’s always surface-level lefty political interjections.

Basically to be safely profitable on the internet you have to look and semi-act like a child’s show host. In general life its so guys can say "I’m not a jerk, im fun and unthreatening!" not knowing that turns off women.

That look is meticulously curated to attract a very specific kind of girl. My sister has said a few times that guys like OP’s pic are exactly her type, and even she admits it’s weird and she can’t explain it. Guys who look like that are frequently seen in the techno scene from what I hear.
