Artists have a pretty good understanding of people, that's why they can channel their experiences into relatable media. If you understand people, you realize life isn't tremendously worth living past 30.
>damn I'm 31 and feel like there's just not much left to do...
This is by far the saddest thing I've ever read on LULZ ... and that's fucking saying something.
You're supposed to be starting a family by then. That's why you feel you have nothing to do. Also travel a bit there's tons to see even if it's samey everywhere. I saw 31 us states when I was 26 and it got me out of a nasty funk
Fuck that noise, there's also artists who continue to create and evolve their music until they die. There's artists who go on to do other things in the music industry, see picrel
There is so much to do beyond 30, you're not your athletic self, you're not so good looking anymore. But fuck it you are smarter and should be motivated as ever to be productive now. Comic Mcarthy was 52 when he published blood Meridian.
Fuck I hate being a positive motivational cunt, it's cringe. But thinking it's over at 30 is worse.
It depends on what field or line of work you're in really politicians for example are generally older on average and I'd say a politicians peak is in their 50s but you can even reach the zenith of your career, becoming president, in your 70s or even 80s but the same can't be said for music because it's a young man's game
Ngl, when people say that it sounds like massive cope. >Life gets better as your body decays trust me >there's so much more left to do when yo- *cough* you're older >you can- *crack* oh sorry that was my shoulder, it broke for the 3rd time this week when I was leaning forward too much, my bad >Think of all the things you can't do in your twenties like...ummm....uhhhh...you know...all of the adult stuff
Any time anybody says shit like that it reeks of regret. There's a reason mid life crisis exists.
Fuck getting old, I'm going to live out the rest of my days on the edge of life rather than slowly whither away.
I think to make great music you have to be very sensitive but if you're very sensitive genetically any childhood trauma at all pretty much rapes your mind and then you're fucked
Mental illness is what drives great music. If you’re creating genuinely amazing stuff you probably have other shit going on which will end up killing you.
There's something very attractive and slightly romantic about dying young. There just is. And we're just fascinated by musicians who die young. We make legends out of them and the story of their life becomes this semi-mythical tale where they become this tortured genius martyr folk hero who died for our sins. Books are written and movies are made about the rise and fall, the tragedy of it all, the wasted potential, what could have been, what went wrong, broken hearts, drugs, despair, death. Just makes for a great story. And young people are fascinated by death anyway so they eat that shit up every time.
Talent comes with tragedy.
Whoever has the temperament for it will struggle with existential angst a lot more than the average chump.
Creators are feelers, this is what enables them to synthesise and express what normies can't, but it also makes them emotional cripples. So they all cope with something, drugs, alcohol, or just check out early.
Not knowing how to handle the fame and fortunate at such a young age, so they turn to alcohol or drugs to cope. Addiction spirals out of control, but they’re able to keep up with their spending for their habit because they make a lot of money. Continue to use until you overdose or die of cirrhosis.

it's the same feeling as trying to finish a maze, and realizing you worked yourself into a dead end because of a minor mistake.

Forever young
Me and my mother in law unironically think Linkin park and SGs singers were suicided
Because they were, David Geffen ordered it.
