i used to react that way too. do you live somewhere where its still illegal OP? i grew up hearing about intense negative stereotypes about what a weed smoker is (demotivational syndrome, gateway drug, etc) so assumed it was a trash drug to be involved in, but after experiencing it and realizing there was something legitimately powerful and useful there i slowly unlearned the predjudices i was taught. but the illegality still always crept in from behind and the feeling like i was doing something "wrong". now that its legal here i feel that weight has been lifted. there are still moralists here who say its immoral or degenerate but whatever fuck em. i dont see those idiots stopping every cigarette smoker or beer drinker to tell them off and those are infinitely more dangerous to society than a puff of a dried plant lol
