Why do FTMs always have that stupid fucking septum piercing?

Why do FTMs always have that stupid fricking septum piercing? Do they not realize it makes them look like girls with daddy issues, not hot emo guys? It is the single clockiest thing a pooner can have and no matter how many times they're told this they just keep wearing those dumbass nose rings. Even trans men who would otherwise pass perfectly immediately become clocky with it. It looks bad every time both on women and men. What is the appeal? Why don't they learn?

ironically mtfs also really like having septum piercings
    is that fembrained?

I can excuse it on mtfs even though I find it to be an ugly accessory because it makes them look like women. With ftms it's like they are actively trying to not look like men.

yeah but for mtf it just make them easier to clock

if you're getting clocked by piercings as an mtf, you're probably getting clocked anyway

nah, the septum just make it a lot easier in a lot of cases, some past just fine without it but with it most people can tell

I just want my fellow poonbros to make it and it's frustrating seeing them making a mistake like this over and over

there's something about being a dysphoric afab who probably has friends that are gay or trans that makes you want to change your physical appearance in strange ways. i wonder what that could be

also if they passed they'd pass regardless. one cheap little ring does not instantly take you from hot guy to bpd girl

Yeah almost all my friends have tattoos and half of them have dyed hair, because they are bi girls or lesbians, or they are FtMs who already gigapass and thus can afford to do that and still pass. I wouldn't call social pressure but they encourage me to also get tats and dye my hair. Would never do it because my marginal tiny chances of passing hinge on being mistaken for a 12 year old boy. The moment I get a tat or dye my hair, even those rare few moments would go out the window

If a pooner doesn’t pass because of a septum piercing, they just don’t pass. Septum piercings are common enough, at least in the west, to the point where at least both men and women of younger generations will have them. I get OPs sentiment but if an ftm has been on T for maybe six months, a septum piercing really shouldn’t be an issue imo

I'm 14 months on T and get gendered male maybe 10-20% of the times that I am gendered. People assume T is black magic. Well I suppose it is for cishons who already almost passed pre-T, but there are some extremely perma-doomed people out there including myself

when you consider that theres so many more mtf than ftm and that a shocking number of "ftm" are enby or trying to be femboys it really proves that being a man just sucks shit and nobody wants to be one

I like being a man. It's fun and feels way more natural than being a sad, autistic mannish dyke with no friends ever did. It's just not for everyone I guess.

i totally respect anyone that actually likes being a man, its just depressing that its so rare and yet i was born like that

I wish we could swap bodies anon. I know there are lots of people who would have killed to be born in my skin, and I feel bad that I can't appreciate it.

i'm ftm and not into piercings mostly because of autism but at least you know there's some out there who don't get septum piercings or gauges

I don't have a septum but I have a lot of other girly-to-femboy-type piercings--spider bites, microdermals, etc. I don't give a shit. It looks good, I enjoy getting piercings, I prefer to be clocked at this point and I have to either come out directly or have a lot of UwU indicators for that to happen.
