Why do cats purr? What's the scientific rationale behind that? Yes it's political because everything is political. Your made it that way. I am not science denier.

    >A cat can purr in response to happiness, as a coping mechanism for stress, to solicit food or attention, and to communicate to other cats. A cat that is near death may purr. A cat that is purring at a veterinary hospital may be very stressed and scared and could be purring to self-soothe or to communicate appeasement.

Why does OP know how to access LULZ but not Google?

Is it because he is making nonsense threads on purpose?

Is there something important being slid on purpose?

I'm going to spend some time seeing what is up.

Like reading the newspaper in the morning.

But I have a busy day today.

Will log off LULZ at 9am.

    To do programming.

I like liking cat asses, because they're clean and vagina is also close and resemble a young teen vagina.

I equate it to a cat smiling. Sometimes it's an involuntary smile like one you would give when you feel happy. Other times it's voluntary to make someone more comfortable or for you to be non-threatening. Purring doesn't always mean a cat is happy though as they sometimes purr when in pain or child birth. I think purring is largely a projection of positivity a cat does to improve the area around it. I'm of course basing this on absolutely nothing much like the majority of people who try to understand why cats do everything the way they do.

It's low pitched so only those that are close can hear it.
The higher pitched parts of the sound are muffled but with a similar signature as running pray, like a mouse hidden by grass or digging in sand.
The end result is a signal saying you want those that are close to you to pay attention to you.

I am completely serious, there is still no scientific consensus why cats purr. Why not dogs, why not everybody. I am still waiting for big left lobe brain response to that.

I explained it completely. Dogs have a million ways to do similar signals but they're not adapted to be as focused on stealth.

Who knows. Cats fled their native galaxy millions of years ago and their reasons for doing anything are lost to the sands of time. You could study a cat for years and think you know what they’re all about then the next day they’ll do something they’ve never done before, for no seemingly logical purpose.
