        Scandinavia

not the same. Scandinavia features the cross, the other countries have enough going on in their flags to the point where the off-center emblem "fits". but the Nazi flag is so simple that to not have symmetry is bothersome.

Virtually no one agrees with this, it looks better this way and intentionally follows the style of other flags, including the previous Prussian flag. Also Japanese war flag, etc.

Japan and Prussia look better. Especially Japan. it has way more going on. this is just a simple background with an off-center label. IT IS NOT THE SAME. IT SUCKS.

well, I don't have to cope and seethe, since it's a nonexistent regime.

For the same reason they don't have an actor's face in the middle of the shot typically. Eyes are built for dividing pictures into thirds, therefore centering something important at the thid boundries makes stuff look better.

Is this real or schizo superstition?

idk about the 'eyes dividing into three' thing but off-centre point of focus aesthetic is definitely a thing, see the golden ratio.

But also as a mean to tell they were exaggerating being on the left rather than on the right.

This, way it looks better when flowing.
The party flag was centered though.
