The only good and free web-based RSS reader available on desktop and mobile got killed by Google because it was harming ad revenue
Standalone RSS readers aren't suitable for sharing between many devices and all the current web-based options are either shit or self-hosted

I use NetNewsWire and sync through FeedBin
Also Unread on iPad and iPhone
Sounds like your platform of choice just doesn’t bring all the feed-reader writers to the yard

If it had failed, I wouldn't get multiple updates on my reader from many different sites every single day. However, it could some some publicity.

It works fine for me. Any site that doesn't use RSS isn't worth reading.

      https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCGIY_O-8vW4rfX98KlMkvRg
      or for playlists
      https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?playlist_id=PLplWWKocAfTatxde-hEMuQZB0fxmXsw_u

      rsshub

rsshub is another way, I think it needs a developer api key.
mainly use rsshub for monitoring new JAV released though.

      Invidious has RSS feed support:
      https://yewtu.be/feed/channel/UC7YOGHUfC1Tb6E4pudI9STA

Just go to the channel, and you can see a "RSS" button next to the "subscribe" button

because XML is cancer... and XSL is death...

json feeds are nice though... doesn't matter if you use them as replacement for RSS or something else because json is actually useable... from any language..

"Foxish live RSS" in Chrome is alright

Firefox has devs who removed support for audio on Linux because nobody knew how to maintain that...

Login gated and personalized content feeds (non-rss). Short RSS feeds meaning you missed stuff if your computer is offline. Cloudflare protection blocking RSS clients. People who have inboxes of 10k emails getting overwhelmed by feed readers.
