It’s an ideology like all the others, the end of history is a cope so it can pretend it’s somehow special and immune to entropy or whatever.
Liberalism =/= Progress but liberals love to pretend their ideology is perfectly aligned with Progress.
In the end, it’s a failed ideology like Marxism and it will definitely die this century but it will leave lasting damage.
Western countries will be like second world shitholes and still live in liberalism’s shadow decades after it gets discredited

Something akin to a cyberpunkish oligarchy. Corporations will rule, instead of nations you'll have rival brands owning everything. Technology will ensure people become trapped forever. You'll own nothing and be happy.

corporatocracy. privatization of the public sphere so deep that there are never-ending levels to it. What may seem like a public good is simply taxpayer money being funneled into corporate pockets. Water, internet, gas, electric, etc. are public 'at heart'- but managed at the micro level by private companies, which contract out to other private companies, who contract out to other private companies, etc.-- the system will go on and on in a constant bloat, aka 'economic growth' because more people doing meaningless jobs = growth, therefore showing that it's beneficial to the people.

It ended up replacing the old aristocracy with a new and most of what is promises only benefits a small, bourgeois elite.

I wouldn't be too eager to already dismiss Liberalism; while the Liberal societies of the west clearly failed, they are good at integrating would-be elites into their circles. Contrary to what leftoids or rightoids might tell you: if you are industrious and gifted, you can rise to the top of society; certainly, there is no guaranteed success, but it happens in large enough numbers that there are no discontent elites. The people that are discontent are largely people who lack the ability to participate in society. While their numbers are growing by the rising demands and the ever more meagre incentives, it is questionable whether they by themselves possess the ability to turn their discontent into a movement that could threaten the system, simply because they lack a real intelligentsia and the funds. If anything, foreign powers could wield these masses, but it is questionable to which extent they can be directed.

            >Critical Theory; Encourages an overall decline in education standards;
Ok, this part has nothing to do with liberalism as such. This bit is secularism, which is a religion, based primarily on Judaism, that restricts the freedom of religion rather than allows it. This is where all the authoritarianism is coming from. They boost critical theory because it's their guys.

    >lack of affordable housing
Homeownership has historically always been a pathway to capital ownership and the middle class, as well as to stable living conditions that allow people to start their families earlier. However the environment is limited, sprawl comes with its own host of issues, and REITs are snatching up existing homes and gouging tenants, all contribute to a growing problem without an easy solution. Since the globe is a finite resource and we can’t bank on infinite growth, this leads us to our next problem

    >stigma surrounding euthanasia
Historically there was always some splendid war somewhere where rootless incels and nihilistic malcontents could lose themselves in a way that didn’t bring shame to their families. Nukes make splendid wars an impossibility. Lingering Christian superstition against voluntary ending of life allows society to fill up with bottom-feeders who are a burden on the public system while the Nazi hijacking of eugenics into a fancy label for state sponsored terrorism discredited the idea that the human gene pool benefits from periodic pruning

    >failure to censor the internet
Technolibertarians built the internet in their own idealized vision of what society could be, and the result was to give a voice and platform to scum. Previously liberals had no problem policing platforms like radio and television to prevent subversive material from proliferating in echo chambers that foster the flames of hatred for profit and influence.

Take these three problems together, and the result is an underclass of malcontents, criminals, and incels with few opportunities for traditional means of accruing capital, who are itching to fight a society that they never liked and who never liked them in return, and who live in a tech bubble of lies and misdirection that makes them the useful idiots of hidden power-brokers. Wether this leads to its long term destruction or reformation remains to be seen.

It never failed. I mean, it accomplished literally all of its goals. So what's it supposed to do now? Liberalism is now just conservatism, and it's now more common that antiliberals are progressive rather than reactionary.

First and foremost, because of concentration of capital. Political parties have become lobbies for business circles which have replaced the old nobility as the ruling class. Every kind of political reform was conducted or shut down according to the interests of prevailing business group. The only exception to the rule would be a social compromise done by ruling class to prevent large scale rebellion or something like that (1968-69 public unrest in Europe and lots of countries over the world).
Second, inadequacy of republican democracy for the large nation. This was obvious even to romans. Parliaments are too large and parliament members cannot be held accountable for their deeds, violation of promises n stuff. Dividing country in smaller republics doesn't work, and no ruling class would actually introduce direct democracy (which would demand even greater division) unless forced by violent hostile power.

Wilsonianism usurped imperialism in 1918. Liberalism can only expand through imperialism. We must return to imperialism.
The CIA did its best, but now even they have failed. The Wilsonian cult that is the American(Western?) populace at large has rendered liberalism all but toothless. You cannot civilize inbred third worlders with netflix subscriptions and amazon deliveries. Boot must be on neck until they learn to act like human beings. The 19th century European powers understood this. Britain understood it the best.

They failed at it hard you illiterate frick. Forcing shit down peoples throats and fricking them over never works. That's why the colonial polices that focused on warping local markets and forcing dumb ideas/plans all failed or fricked people. Mozambique suffered constant famines because the Portuguese forced EVERYBODY to grow cash crops, meanwhile Uganda had no policy on forcing Africans to grow what items so you had a colony agricultural market that actually functioned and had Africans growing cash or food crops for local or export needs.

This speaks only really towards the United States so it's not fair to characterize liberalism in such a broad brush. Liberal democracies in Europe didn't behave in such a arrogant and self-serving fashion like the US has since the end of the Cold War.
It failed because of the unipolar moment. After the fall of the Soviet Union and the collapse of socialism in Eastern Europe, the US LED International liberal World Order got very hubris and arrogant proclaiming that this was the end of history. When history is never over. And plus when you have individuals who are proclaiming that The Hidden Hand of the free liberal markets will never work without a hidden fist McDonald's cannot flourish without McDonald Douglas the builder of the F-15 and the hidden fist which keeps the world safe for Silicon Valley Technologies being the United States Army Air Force Navy and Marine corps, and this idea that the American governments can do whatever it wants without any consequences whatsoever it is no wonder that countries around the world are turning back towards nationalism and populism if this is what liberalism and democracy have to offer to the world. Destroy an entire country and civilization to spread liberal values. It is safe to say that the liberal World Order officially died in 2022. What's going to replace it we don't know. China could be an alternative to the American LED liberal World Order it's authoritarian and yet it is economically prosperous and growing its influence but at the same time it's also a house of cards that could collapse. This is especially if president Xi Jinping overplays himself by fancying him himself as the next Chairman Mao, then that deck of cards is going to collapse. Other proponents of the American LED liberal World Order could point to Russia as another alternative or the brics but that is also a house of cards especially in light of recent events
