Why couldnt he or why didnt he just straight up conquered the whole Central Europe.

Why couldn’t he or why didn’t he just straight up conquered the whole Central Europe.

He could’ve put his name alongside history’s greatest conquerors (Caesar, Alexander, Genghis, etc)

He would've at least had a chance to turn the HRE into a Swedish-lead institution, but I wouldn't say it was a particularly high one. Lutzen probably would not have gone well for him if Wallenstein didn't decide to withdraw for no reason.

Because Sweden didn't have the population. Charles XII was arguably as good at war as Adolphus had the same problem in the Great Northern War (also didn't help that Charles was a total nincompoop when it came to grand strategy).

The Flemish/Italian/Spanish combo was too much for most of Europe. They had Flemish ingenuity, Spanish spirit, and had the Italians put into the mix so that the enemy would underestimate them because what the fuck are spaghettinaggers capable of lmao

Probably because Sweden didn't have the ability to conquer large swaths of land, sure the Swedish army at the time was great, but its another thing to actaully put garrisions there long term, hell they ended up not being able to keep finland long term

Wallenstein crushed this sissy twink twice (2x) at Alte Veste and Lutzen. He couldn’t even defeat the equivalent of the Czech Republic and shlibs think he could have conquered Germany?

They didn't have population to pull off something like that. So they instead sticked to pillaging shit. They weren't some great conquerors capable of creating lasting legacy, they were glorified mercenaries that acted like Christian ISIS while being on French paycheck

The Swedish army at the time was majority mercenaries, bankrolled by France. I don't see them wanting to back a country that would rival them as European great power.
