Why can't homophobes prove that homosexuality is a sin?

Why can't homophobes prove that homosexuality is a sin? Only sodomy is prohibited in the Bible, but that's an abnormal sex practice both gays and straights participate in, and lesbians don't at all (unless they use sex toys).

David and Jonathan were lovers. The Bible could not be more clear about the matter.

          They are wrong about it. It's an essential nutrient, not poison, and its deficiency causes mainly obesity and sexual deviancy. There is even an amino acid that contains mercury.
          It probably has to be organic, anorganic mercury seems to be a waste of time. Seafood and saltwater fish may still provide some, but somewhat miserable as the limits prevent the sale of fish with good amounts. Whale/dolphin may be excellent sources if you are willing to eat them.
          Japan ignores the limits, as far as I'm aware.

              I'm not crazy, it's supported by multiple lines of evidence.
              Heavy metals got depleted over ancient history. It seems obvious that lead and mercury could be depleted through mining (some organisms like fungi can obtain it from the minerals) but it isn't clear why cadmium got depleted. Its levels were extremely high by modern standards as late as about five millenia ago, and its concentrations have been steadily decreasing through history, but it was unknown to people until the 19th century, so it seems there must be another process involved.

    Jesus explicitly defines marriage as between one man and one woman in the Gospel according to St. Matthew
    >“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
    In St. Paul's Epistle to the Romans, he leaves little room for speculation when it comes to his opinion on homosexuality, with regard to both males and females.
    >Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. (Paul's Epistle to the Romans, 1:26-27)

      that passage was about divorce, not whether men can marry men, which Jesus does not address.

    Actually it could be far more clear about the matter, because it never explicitly states they were lovers. Homer makes an explicit point of having Achilles and Patroclus sleep in the same tent, but they're each in their own bed, with their own girl, on the other side of the tent from each other. He didn't need to go so far out of his way to show THEY ARE NOT FUCKING EACHOTHER but he did. There are plenty of ancient depictions of Achilles and Patroclus as lovers, but The Iliad is not one of them.

        C.S. Lewis talks about this already happening in his own time

        > It has actually become necessary in our time to rebut the theory that every firm and serious friendship is really homosexual. Kisses, tears and embraces are not in themselves evidence of homosexuality. The implications would be, if nothing else, too comic. Hrothgar embracing Beowulf, Johnson embracing Boswell (a pretty flagrantly heterosexual couple) and all those hairy old toughs of centurions in Tacitus, clinging to one another and begging for last kisses when the legion was broken up… all pansies? If you can believe that you can believe anything (p. 247).

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
    29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
