As a white person, I personally label people white or not white, by anyone who is darker than the darkest tan I can get to be non white. By that standard, Turks are white.

Because whiteness is an arbitrary category and who is and isn't white is usually decided by whoever is in power.
Unless all of your ancestors for the past 8,000 years until 1492 have been living in the following area:
-No further south than the 48th parallel north.
-No further north than the 55th parallel north.
-No further east than the 10th meridian east.
-No further west than the 6th meridian west.
You are not white, you can never be white, and your descendants will never be white.
