Why aren't you using Fedora instead of Arch?
>Works
>Easy install
>Doesn't break. Ever.
>Has COPR instead of the AUR
>1st class Gnome Support.
vs
>Sometimes works
>Hard Install, takes a lot of time
>Breaks pretty often.
>AUR < COPR
>Doesn't have good support of any DE, making it the paradise for loosing your life (And guarding your virginity)
>blue and white icon
COPR? More like COPE!
Because it's a Linux distro.
So, tell me, what do you do that makes you hate Linux so much? Are you an Engineer and need Fusion 360? Or maybe you work in Photo Editing and NEED Photoshop? What do you do that you need your little spyware always handy?
Linux commands and the unnecessary requirement to reinstall packages/apps/whatever because something went wrong. If I were to use it, it'd be to use a few programs for archiving or PC maintenance and nothing else.
>linux commands
you don't have to use the terminal if your distro is newb-friendly
>the unnecessary requirement to reinstall packages/apps/whatever because something went wrong
never happened to me
Just by this reply I can see you never even tried Linux. Go download Fedora and try it, even if dual boot
>the unnecessary requirement to reinstall packages/apps/whatever because something went wrong
lolwat?
>1st class Gnome support
specializing in shit isn't good
also why does it have btrfs by default but no snapshots, are they dumb?
I am using it despite its shitty icon.
I do and it's works great.
>explosive dog
What did you feed him with? Sneed?
>Doesn't break. Ever.
Erm... F38 is another story, though?
I updated to 38 recently, what's broken on it?
i've used debian, ubuntu, fedora, and arch, and the latest upgrade has been the most broken update I've had with ANY OS
fuck, this shit is so sad. there isn't one good out-of-the-box distro left
I am and it fucking works even with KDE now
wah wah wah it broke once the world is ending noooo wah wah stfu fucking kill yourself
It makes brave browser crash instantly when you try to open it and if you use firefox it has a weird glitch where your cursor turns enormous.
If I wanted to use corposhit that needs to bow to US laws, I'd go for Windows.
Because I'm already using openSUSE which is better. Otherwise I'd be using either OpenMandriva ROME or Fedora KDE. Maybe Kubuntu but I don't like old packages.
>OpenMandriva ROME
Is it good?
It's a rolling release focusing only on KDE. Supports RPMs and Flatpaks. Long history going back to the 90s although the company behind it went bust like 10 years ago and it's a community project since. The main downside is lack of manpower - while the packages are up to date (e.g. latest KDE, Firefox, kernel) the Wiki and website are just not good.
I'm not into feet.
I use Fedora and openSUSE Tumbleweed, but I wish they had an easy way to install codecs and Nvidia drivers.
Doesnt fedora have some way to scan your machine and autoinstall the relevant drivers? I think I've read about that
So tell me sers,
Fedora Desktop KDE vs Fedora Desktop Gnome, what is peak comfiest and why?
I like KDE more than GNOME, but I switched to GNOME because it's their "official" DE
But I am opee
1. It glows
2. It's a cringe Atheist meme *tips*
i'm not dealing with their codec problem.
