i really dont think this is actually true, trans people (i think even just people in general) absorb all of the messaging for BOTH genders, because we see people around us get treated differently, and its p much impossible for a trans person to actually feel comfortable in their "assigned" socialization. sure we might struggle against behaviors put into us by our traumatic past, but the point is that it's always a struggle, and we're never "fine" with what society told us.
