That doesn’t mean shit, it was done for WC preparation. After this, they’ll go back to not caring about football

Qatar has a population of about 1 million and nobody wants to go there for football.

Not like Brazil or even Russia, which could have both locals and thousands of travelling fans

Fun fact: Most people in Qatar are foreigners and they fly trough half of the globe only to get Qatari money as an otherwise unskilled lower-class laborer.

How many people usually travel to a World Cup? Aren't most matchgoers at a World Cup usually natives? Legitimately asking

      Anonymous

A lot of the time they are, but this time they really fricked up everything.

      >South Africa, Brazil, and Russia all host world cups
      >It's not so bad because they're poor countries so accommodation and beer is cheap, don't need anything else, simple as
      >Qatar is expensive as frick and alcohol is banned but then they make concessions for the foreigners
      >Costs £800 a night to sleep in a tent, £50 to get get into the beer tent, then £20 per bottle of Budweiser™
      >South Africa, Brazil, and Russia all host their world cups when there's no "cost of living crisis"
      >Qatar host theirs in the middle of a "cost of living crisis"
      >South Africa, Brazil, and Russia host theirs in the middle of the summer when people have expendable income and usually go abroad anyway
      >Qatar host theirs right before Christmas when people are more looking at buying presents and the like for Christmas AND in the middle of a "cost of living crisis" AND when people are less likely to go abroad
      >South Africa, Brazil, and Russia all lay out their rules in advance so everyone knows what to expect
      >Qatar lay out their rules in advance so everyone knows what to expect but then change them on an hourly basis depending on how they feel at the time

They fricked this one up big time.
I don't even blame the Qataris. I blame FIFA and therefore the French. Both need taken care of to make sure there's not another debacle like this in the future. With FIFA, and therefore the French, around it's guaranteed to happen. And we'll all blame the hosts instead of the ones who allowed it to happen. Same as when chuds blame the "refugees" for being violent rapists rather than the ones who brought them here and demanded we open our borders.
I'm not being anti-semitic with that btw, that's just coincidence.
