Hoodies are only shunned by menswear autists. Its the same type people who refuse to buy sneakers (they do 0 exercise and have no life outside of their work/ larping as a worker)

sneakerfags are the atheists of this board. Sorry we have the audacity to wear appropriate footwear sneakerfags. KYS.

Hoodies are fine they just aren’t appropriate for many occasions. Plus as you get older than 12 you realize pussy is a thing so you get away from hoodies.

The better question would be why do low tier men defend hoodies and jeans to adamantly. You don’t ever see any other demographic get this defensive about simple clothes.

Hoodies are only shunned here lol. They’re just a regular garment to normalfriends. What you get on LULZ is the fashion takes of freaks and outcasts. They have this undeserved sense of superiority over normies so anything normie is "low class" or "npc core". You wind up with threads of anons neurotically screeching that you’ll get spit on the streets for wearing a hoodie with straight fit jeans and a baseball cap. In reality you’re totally invisible to the various normal people going about their day. So in short LULZ’s userbase are like monkeys at typewriters. Mostly nonsense, sometimes something coherent.

Because you can’t wear it if you’re over 20. It’s like being a backpack guy in your 30s or wearing shorts in your 50s and 60s. It’s an extremely immature piece of clothing, and if worn by an adult male, it gives off that "I peaked in high school" vibe.

Association with crime. Also this is my personal view but it looks like a peasants tunic. If you wanted actual decent clothes that take inspo from peasants tunic you’d wear something like the linen tunics Russians wore in ww1 (think Chalomet in Dune).
