Most of them seem wrong and right in equal measure.
If we took every religion that has or had ever existed and condensed them into a single religion we'd basically get:
-There's 1 supreme God a long with millions of lesser gods, spirits, angels.
-The supreme God is all knowing, all powerful, all loving, all present, but this makes them aloof and incomprehensible to mortals.
-The lesser gods are not perfect and regularly interact with humanity and are thus are more personable and relatable: good, bad, neutral, most busy themselves with the responsibilities given to them by God, but some are selfish, evil, or shirk their responsibilities.
-People can occasionally hear the divine word of God, though mostly messages sent by lesser gods, and relate them to the rest of humanity in divine teachings and inspired literature/art. Some people even emulating these divine teachings so holistically that they embody the spirit of God, becoming little gods themselves, knowing not death and ascending to heaven.
-Fundamentally, the supreme God desires us to know and practice empathy: to be kind, to be selfless, to love one another, to disregard anger, hatred, and abandon the wanton empty attachment of material excess and wealth, and to see all as siblings and children of God as they see us.
>le everyone is right
Of all the religious beliefs, this has got to be the dumbest one
Christianity.
>reflected in every inspired faith
Yeah and some of the reflections are inverted and you'd die if you relied on them.

Proof?
[...] >http://www.biblefriendlybooks.com/2021/07/is-there-way-to-determine-which.html?m=1 >The Catholic Church has been claiming to be God’s representative on Earth for over 1,600 years. For most of that period they have claimed that the pope and, depending on the point in history, the cardinals and bishops, were infallible. Yet if you read their history, it is jam-packed with evil people doing evil deeds.
Non sequitur.

Because irreligion doesn't seem to be true at all.
100 different correct religions??? and they are all true?
It stands to reason just as different societies found objective details about maths, sciences, chemistry, that through prayer and meditation they too would find objective details and come to conclusive truths of God when all the details and similarities are exposed.
It's inherently ridiculous and UNBELIEVABLY fricking prideful to assume a *very* specific group would hold exclusivity to such an important truth of reality.
the only rediculous thing here is YOU trying to cope for ' how im i supposed to choose the right one ' . very small brain vibes my man and it wont hold it when time comes to be questioned lil man .

Why does there have to be a true religion?
Because irreligion doesn't seem to be true at all.
>because irreligion doesn't seem to be true at all
But it only seems to not be true if you first adopt a religious worldview and that defeats the purpose of questioning why there needs to be a true religion.
It seems to not be true either way.

>no proof of god offered
if people believe in God, why is it so hard to just offer proof he exists?
no it always has to be >uhhh well you see you HAVE to proove that he doesn't exist based on this certain sentence!
it's so pitiful.

concepts and ideals are things as well.
I can also make up "things" that don't exist but exist in a figment of imagination.
so far all you have told me is that a concept of god is real.
prove that this concept of god isn't a concept but governs us.

>God is a real concept.
Agree >prove that this concept of god isn't a concept. but governs us.
I can't because it requires me to identify a God or his effects which is impossible.

great. you just admitted that god isn't real. was that so difficult?

How does irreligion seem to not be true? They way I see it irreligion is the secular viewpoint and it seems to be better at discovering how reality works than any religion.

It is better at precisely 0 things. Every idea an irreligious person can postulate, a religious person can postulate better because the worldview is more elaborate. >I can postulate a Godless world though
If you ignore the idea completely, yes. Even a religious person can pretend to be ignorant tho.

It is better at literally everything if religion was better at explaining things we would still believe the earth was flat

The explosive pedo brand of monotheism is a bit too much. Perhaps choose the more advanced ones, if Trinity is too much for your mind to swallow there are still plenty options.
Mine.
After spending a lifetime of study and meditation, I have come to a set of beliefs which takes aspects of Mahayana Buddhism, Gnosticism, Calvinism and Indo-European paganism.
God is the absolute. God breathed humanity into existence. God wants to be imitated, not worshipped. Humans are divided into three spiritual castes, the soulless peasants, the warriors and the priests. Only the latter two reincarnate (and are thus deathless), peasants are purely somatic and die. The negative emotions spurred on by the hylics have polluted God's garden, making it an unsuitable place for the true soulf full humans to become as God. Thus a chieftain of the warrior caste will have to exterminate all the hylics before the benefit of the pure land of God can be brought on Earth, in which true humans will be free to meditate until we become as Gods.
No worries though, we are immortal and timeless, while the hylics are temporary.
There are at least a hundred different correct religions.
how correct are we talking about . say about 0% correct ?
100 different correct religions??? and they are all true?
The true religion is the great Perennial Truth, which is reflected in every inspired faith of mankind.
4 of those believes in statues and humans . you cant compare them with abrahamic religions c**t.
