Don't worry about this. We had a massive population on the planet in the past. It's just the corporate chemical industry has failed the farmers, big agra and big chem. And failed to provide food with the correct amounts of nutrients .
But we don't need big chem to be greedy and destroy topsoil with nitrates ,pesticides and GMO. We have other methods we historically used. There will be plenty of food.

doesnt even have to be private, some suburb school like in first colony have some of the most advanced math curriculums ive seen (granted this was a decade ago they may have gone down the shitter since)
and even in schools the disparity is huge. i went to a high school in HISD and pretty much all of our AP students would get into UT Austin at minimum and 1/4th would go to Ivy League. but AP students were 1/5th the population of the school (and also white, asian, and a speckle of other races)
i took history in non AP courses bc i couldnt be assed to do 3 hours of history homework a day and it was all black, hispanic, and jungle asian students and my teachers would love me because just because my half assed efforts (zero studying, doing hw in class just so i didnt have to do it at home) were miles better than anyone else in the class.

What green policies did they implement that caused the power grid to go to shit?

              Anonymous

when people talk about Texas's power grid being bad due to green theyre almost always referring to the times the power grid fails when there is a snowstorm.
the reason is that in the winter there usually isnt too much demand for electricity (you rarely need to turn on the heater) so the coal power plants are shut down for maintenance. during that time the power demand is placed heavily in green power like wind.
the windmills werent properly fitted to withstand the snow (bc it "snows" once every 5 years) and they cant just turn on the coal plants that are down for maintenance so it creates a shitstorm where everyone is running their (mainly electric) heating putting a strain on the already strained power grid.
personally, i've never lost power in the winter and the only time i ever lost power in the last decade was when a tornado blew through my neighborhood.

              >What green policies did they implement that caused the power grid to go to shit?
A shitload of production coming from unreliable sources like wind and solar. It's why every damn day this week they are threatening brownouts around 8pm because the sun goes down, the wind isn't blowing yet, but it's still hot as fuck. I guess nobody could have guessed that LMFAO. Another big one they did was switching the natgas pipeline pumps from running on the gas in the pipe to grid electricity, that was a big contributor to the winter storm problems. Greens are fucking insane and will drive us to feudal living.

It does it every year to varying degrees and increasing. It builds up as normally during winter but then it stops getting colder sooner than it optimally could so instead of maintaining itself from the cold it basically collapses in itself and spreads. The warmer it gets the more severe the spread. So yeah the arctic might be warmer but it's still ass fucking cold. And it spreads to us the warmer it gets. During the winter. It unfortunately doesn't have a corresponding effect during the summer. The vortex is just that. A country sized swirling pattern of wind.

Well Virginia has always been a vital state since colonial times. A large amount of early presidents came from there, and NOVA being part of the D.C. metro area and having so many federal govt institutions makes it important. Richmond and Hampton Roads help it too. I certainly see potential there in the future. The future of the Northeast as a whole, mainly New York tbqh, is concerning though.
My only connection to Virginia is some ancestors on one of my grandmother's side, some who I think were even Confederate soldiers. I would have to double check that one though. I know my Kentucky ancestors had some Confedrates.

Kek, maybe. I hear there is lots of investment pouring into Chicago, which will lead the region, certainly for the U.S. side and Toronto for Canada. I would honestly move to Anchorage. The cost of living is low, and the God damn weather isn't hot as a bitch during summer, it is fucking 60-70 like paradise during Summer.

I have actually been told specifically that Anchorage is beautiful. It may be a bustling job hub in the far future anyway, seems like a nice place to live. That or Denver.

Plus this chart doesn't even list Las Vegas as up and coming. That is a HUGE city right now, way more commerce than ever before and they just bought the Oakland A's.

places like LV (Nevada in general) and interior Texas only make sense so long as other parts of the country have insane laws to escape from. They are inferior when it comes to weather, water, food production, and ports. There is no sign of the insane places getting less insane but things tend to change faster than anyone predicts.

Texas Triangle, Gulf Coast (excluding New Orleans and including Mississippi), Florida, and Piedmont Atlantic. Ezpz. Mass migration, state policies and laws, etc. make them the obvious choice. Mississippi is phasing out state income tax soon so expect some growth in the majority White areas. Northeast is done. Held together by old money and will collapse from all the liberals and naggers. yea. it's a bit tone deaf. Any "mega region" needs optimized travel systems, taxes, and similar political goals which means cooperation between the cities. The NE does not get along. Boston, NY, Baltimore, D.C. Richmond, etc are not going to all band together over anything. Same for great lakes. It should be call the "Chicago" region and everyone in the vicinity of Chicago hates it. The only regions in OPs map that are culurally connected are Norcal, Socal, and cascadia.

Even i have to admit the south wouldn't ban together for much these days. we've lost georgia/atlanta, tennessee has been sniffing its own farts pretending the whole state is austin texas for a decade now. There's just too much different between the southern regions these days.

This. We need to get the message out to californians that Texas sucks and they should go somewhere else like new york. Also, we need to get this message to the californians in Austin so they leave. Texas is just a lost cause. Let the fascists have it, it sucks

I generally agree with this, but I would add that all the west coast regions suffer from being in a major earthquake zone. Maybe nothing will happen in the next couple of centuries, but equally they could be wiped out in the next decade. The latter is unlikely, but all it would take is one Big One to make potential investor and migrants reconsider them as a viable future.

The Great Lakes definitely seem like the best bet, especially with booming Canadian cities right across the border.

said, the problem Piedmont Atlantic has is that it's right in the middle of the highest concentration of naggers outside of Africa. Plus, the white population isn't known for having a history of good governance and economic vitality either.

It has the potential to pick up migrants who're looking for a warm climate as California and Florida work hard to make themselves unliveable, and while its still relatively cheap it'll be attractive to business, but the problems with crime, corruption, and lack of an educated work force will hamstring its development.

The amount of local political dirt I have on this region would get me killed lol. Point being, the silver lining, is all these boomers who bought these mountain top palatial estates and robbed locals on their birthright will be dead soon, or cold cocked from the roving black biker gangs moving drugs into the area. It's hilarious to watch them destroy an area so quickly. Asheville is a perfect example. In six years, that city rapidly went to shit. That mid Atlantic area has Cali prices on southern salaries. /misc/ has a hate boner for California but honestly I think they will do really well in the future. The Bay Area will always be a prime spot for innovation and capitalism. They're America's upstream. If they have problems it's because they simply have them sooner than the rest of the country and will probably get over them sooner too.

Virginia mountains are nice, beaches are kinda meh but better ones are relatively close. The jobs are great if you're greatest ambition in life is government or government contractor employment. I talk some trash on Virginia but it's from familiarity and watching how far it's fallen, I lived there years ago. NoVA however has always been one of the most boring, bland places on earth, a place where the NPC'iest of NPC's flock to live in a McMansion and convert their gov't paycheck into crap to put in the McMansion and dinner at the strip mall once a week. I honestly don't know how people can stand it there it is very materialistic but in a back stabby way they are all trying to climb over each other for that coveted GS-15

American here, trying to be as unbiased as possible while also being realistic.

Florida already had its come up. It was one of the least populated and honestly largely irrelevant states full of farms and then it became one of the most relevant states. It’s doing great and will continue to do so.

California is on a decline, and the horrible economic and political situation certainly doesn’t help.

Cascadia is off-puttting for similar reasons to California

The East Coast Megaregions have existed for a long time and are also experiencing a decline, though not as horrible as the West Coast

I have the greatest amount of optimism for the Great Lakes Region. It’s recovering from being the abandoned Rust Belt and is attracting new business like crazy. I live here.

Texas will of course continue to do good, but the Triangle will lose its spot in the spotlight soon in favor of the Gulf Coast.

I don’t know much about the Atlantic Megaregion in the South, but it can definitely do well.

As for the “Sun Belt” I really don’t know. Between the Hispanics, overwhelming heat, africanized bees, ugly cities, and water being wasted on golf courses in the middle of a desert, you couldn’t pay me to move there.

Hello my friend. I am somewhat biased because it is my home state, but I have to recommend Michigan to you.

The Great Lakes is a beautiful region, and every state has something to offer, but Michigan has everything in one and is arguably the most appealing.

Ohio is okay, but rather boring in my opinion.
Illinois has a nice countryside, but it is neglected by the politicians who control the state exclusively from the Chicago Metropolitan Area, which is not a nice place to live and is extremely corrupt. I do not think the state has an optimistic future.
Indiana is literally just fields and ugly, dying cities. Sucks.
Minnesota is a beautiful state, but very cold. It is extremely liberal, which has lead to bad laws being passed and a massive increase in third world violent immigrants from places like Somalia.
Wisconsin is fine, really, but nothing too unique.

Michigan has a bed reputation because of cities like Detroit and Flint, but is recovering quickly. We have much business moving in, beautiful stunning nature. Nice people, and most areas are safe. There are plenty of job opportunities no matter what you specialize in. We are a global manufacturing hub and also have countless prominent universities with amazing reputations. You are never more than 6 miles (9.65 km) from a significant body of water (lake, river, etc.). We have coastal access to 5 of the 6 Great Lakes, which all have their own unique differences in terms of waves, danger, and temperature. I can keep going if you want.

I would highly recommend watching a youtube video on good reasons to move to Michigan, and what to expect in the state. Since you are Ukrainian, I am guessing you are Orthodox. In the Southeast of the state we have many Orthodox Churches due to our large Balkan and Eastern European immigrant populations, if you need a church to attend regularly.

I have to defend The Northern Indiana Parks and Rivers, they are awesome and beautiful. Most of the state's primordial bog has been drained for farmland, and I wish we had more forests than we do, but its not that bad if you just skip out on the Big Cities. It also has a burgeoning population of Tech company and Defense company businesses, and the dying embers of the American Automotive industry if you want to avoid the farm side of things.
Its ridiculously cheap to live here. While our government is an incompetent bunch of bafoons and traitors that deserve to be lined up on crosses, its better than Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan on the tax front.

            Anonymous

True, you do have a very good cost of living, that is a huge advantage especially when there’s good jobs around. States like Indiana are special, in a way. You do still have access to the Great Lakes, and since you’re largely overlooked it’s kind of like a hidden oasis for easy living.

          Anonymous

big thank you anon. You wrote more than I expected to receive. I hope to come to US soon and while my location will probably be decided by the job, I do hope to end up in Michigan. The nature and climate doesn't seem much different from what we have here.

            Anonymous

Any time, friend. I’m glad to hear that you want to come here, I wish you good luck. Even if you don’t end up in Michigan, you should still visit some time for your own sake.

The lakes are amazing, particularly Lake Michigan because of the warmer temperature, cleaned beaches, better sand, and idyllic coastal tourist towns.

Our nature isn’t the most unique on the planet, but if you know where to look you can find nice landmarks. Here is what I recommend:

            1.) Porcupine Mountains
            2.) Sleeping Bear Dunes
            3.) Mackinac Island
4.) The Upper Peninsula in general, especially for hunting or forest exploration
5.) Any nice coastal town on Lake Michigan. Here you can find people enjoying nice beaches with soft sand, warm water, and great sun.
            6.) Tahquamenon Falls
            7.) Lake Huron (kayaking especially)
8.) Pictured Rocks (in the Upper Peninsula, on the cost of Lake Superior)

Another thing about Michigan is the seasons. While many states only really experience “one season” or two in a year, Michigan gets them all. We have freezing cold snowy winters, and hot sunny summers. Autumn is always beautiful here, and people like to get out and engage in Fall Festivities as much as they like to participate in summer fun here. Spring is wet and stormy, but the transition and return of animals and plants is always beautiful.

Probably texas but don't discount the Great Lakes. It has the best geography of any region on the planet. Ample farmland, plentiful fresh water, mineral wealth, and feeds into the Mississippi River and Atlantic Ocean through the erie canal. What's been keeping the region down is black parasitism, union bloat, and the Jones Act. "The Third great migration" is alleviating the first problem.
