Some fresh conscripts have been so badly beaten that they had to have their genitals and legs surgically removed. They will force you into prostitution and take all your money even if you're straight. Your seniors will rape you and beat you up every day for amusement. They feed their army food made for literal cattle. There are a million different ethnic groups and all of them despise each other. Your commanders don't give a shit about you and will put you in condition where disease and lice run rampant. Troops don't always get paid and there's nothing you can do about it. And the invasion of Ukraine sure as shit isn't making anything better.

Varies heavily from unit to unit, even within the same service. The closer you are to combat arms, the more likely it is to be bad. At my first duty station, no one gave a shit. At my second, it was an uphill battle to be taken remotely seriously. Literally had to fight a couple of my peers.

The navy, the stereotype is there for a reason. Navy women I have met are usually bi and down for a threesome. Honorable mention to marines because the same type of woman is found in a slightly less common amount, and they have a lot of the repressed sexual desire types in the marines.

I've been in a while and have been around a bunch of other branches bases. The Navy, despite the jokes actually seems to have the least. The Air Force is where all the softy types go, and that's where the most gays are proportionally. Army is the biggest and a large divisional post is going to have plenty of gays. Marines have a weird overabundance of power bottoms. Navy gays are also the worst, mostly because sailors are the worst. AF gives E-4s BAH, so they can at least have people over any time. Army and Marines will have fun sneaking in and out of barracks.
