Where were you when sjw retards ruined punk fashion?

Where were you when sjw stupids ruined punk fashion?

Punk scene has always been lefty as heck but it honestly feels like a contradiction to have such fragile people supplanting people who actually dont give a heck

instead of actual anarchist fits, vests have become billboards for pronouns and pathetic virtue signaling

Just take me back to the days of dirty heroin and std risk bros

Punk fashion has always been consumerist slop
Viviene Westwood can suck my fat dick.

Punk is about lowering barriers to entry, doing things yourself and teaching your friends, skill sharing, DIY ethic, making do as a lower class person in tough times and owning that.

All this tartan, safety pin, fake rips and expensive clumpy boots are hecking gay poser core and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.

Indians making free YouTube tutorials to hook strangers up with pirate Photoshop are 10,000% more punk than these hecking losers

it’s the "eat the rich" part that really gets me. you can have all your gay shit on there if you want, but to not realize that it’s the current rich people pushing for that stuff represents a real lack of awareness. corporations and the ultra rich push it harder than the governments at this point.

These people are never going to stage a revolution. It’s just another subculture. Rebellion is a commodity and revolution is to them as much a fantasy as any of that Pokemon and Harry Potter shit they’ve got on there. In truth, they’re largely content with the way things are, and really just object to like one or two things that aren’t yet to their liking, but admitting that would be uncool. Pretending you believe it is part of the image.

you stupids fail to realize that punk and counter culture was never about being against something for the sake of being against something. grow up, children. they followed their ideals because they believed in them. just because coporations adopt those ideals to sell them to the masses, it does not invalidate the ideals, it invalidates corporations however. learn to differentiate, you stupid nazi hecks.

      • Anonymous says:

punk never had any ideals dumbass, it was a response to rock songs going on longer than four minutes, which upset radio stations. it’s nothing more than reactionary pop.

    • Sieg heil says:

I don’t think Glenn Danzig or Sid viscous ever claimed to want to eat the rich or ever pushed for communism

It was all the idiot consumers making it look dumb.

Like I’m sure dungeons and dragons is a fun game, been around 50 years probably not a bad game… but the consumers make it seem like a shit game

So just because globohomo companies start supporting something after it becomes popular, it now means the movement is no longer valid? I hate sjws and trannies, but this argument doesn’t really work.
Large corporations started supporting BLM after their stores were getting looted, and their stores continued to be looted.
It doesn’t really mean anything except for attempting to appeal to the normal person.

      • Anonymous says:

        >just because globohomo companies start supporting something after it becomes popular, it now means the movement is no longer valid?
        yes?
if the establishment supports it, it means they’re using it for financial gain and whatever that movement stands for has long since withered away to just conspicuous consumerism and nothing else

    • Anonymous says:

I’m punk. I’m straight, but I accept and welcome my gay homies. The dominant culture pushed is consumerism, which I am against. The whole gay vs christian thing is just a distraction from the real problem, capitalism. If you can convince the Christians to hate the gays, the gays are gonna fight back. The Christians mostly align themselves with the ruling class, so I’m against non-leftist christians.

      • Anonymous says:

The issue with being punk is that literally nobody will take you seriously. Its all fine to be against capitalism and to have decent arguments against it, but to make it your goal to dress as repulsive as possible is ONLY going relegate you to the fringes of society. Punks claim to be socially and politically conscious, but its all for nothing because everybody (especially those who actually have power and the ability to influence) looks at you all as nothing more than whiny, ugly, useless, entitled pieces of garbage. If you ACTUALLY want to see your vision come to fruition and your values to be put into law, then you need to clean up your look so that people start taking you seriously. Stop being deluded

        • Anonymous says:

Basically this, I get along with gays but I am morally opposed to their actions, it goes the same for people who choose to be my friend despite not having aligning spiritual or political views

Naturally however, people who constantly start shit over each other’s opinions won’t be very good friends so I simply don’t hang out with brainrotted stupids who can’t have conversations outside of discussing either the fall of the west or liberal polidicks

Their vests look ugly as sin. Rainbow/pastel gay flags will never look good on black. Creeps need to be thrown into a cube for crimes against fashion.

Punk (yes, even the purist OG punk culture) is absolutely cringe. After years of hanging out with punks and attending punk shows, I realized that the entire culture is centered around being an absolute whiny piece of shit. From an outside perspective, punk shows are essentially nothing more than a big temper tantrum. Like, imagine dressing like this and somehow taking yourself seriously, its just comedic. Out of all the subcultures of extreme music genres, I feel like the late 90s to early 2000s hardcore kids actually made it out alive and became normal, level headed functioning adults

This is some rabbithole shit right here, crazy you just happened to pick up on that. A couple questions though:
        >That punk b***h’s tattoo is not exactly the same shape as the spiraling triangle shown in your links. Are you absolutely positive that it is the real deal?
        >I get the plausible deniability reason for having the tattoo, but if you were a pedo and you didn’t want to get any heat from the police, wouldn’t you just want to not have a "pedo" tattoo at all? If you were to be prosecuted in court, it wouldn’t be able to be used as reasonable evidence of pedophilia, but wouldn’t it still nonetheless have a possible influence over the jury’s decision to convict you as guilty?

there has been no change in the archetype of people in the punk scene. it started with disenfranchised youth who wanted to stand out from society with loud agressive music and extreme fashion statements. a kind of armor for for people to hide in by standing our from the norm and protect themselves like "look, im on the fromge of society. proceed with caution" . it is no different today. my point is that punk has always been for gays, now theyre just internet gays.

  7. Anonymous says:

punk is the virtue signal genre and always has been. since punk was invented its always been primarily concerned with how others are not real punks. theyre not authentic enough, they dont care enough…. etc. but this is just infighting between egos that want to diminish everything outside themselves.

Right here. I got my patches and denim ready to go but I don’t know how to sew. Not pictured: also got some studs, 1” spikes, annd leopard fur. Anyone have any experience getting battle jackets done professionally? Would a regular alterations shop sew patches on? Or maybe there is some specialty place I could mail it to?

nice, pretty solid vest. Do you actually wear this in venues? Mine is somewhat more lowkey with the spicy stuff but I still get a good amount of death glares, occasionally a "you’ve got a lot of balls repping X band here" nobody actually confronts me though

        • Anonymous says:

only band I’ve ever been actually approached about wearing was Death in June, and it was was just someone saying that they also liked Death in June but disagreed with his politics, blah blah blah, you’re crazy to wear that in this antifa bar etc etc . My vest is flektarn and has Black Magick SS on it, that has prompted a conversation or two but no one has actually called me out

Nice, dark dyed camo is very versatile, especially on the days I don’t wanna be total milsurp autist mode it’s a bit more subdued
I’m into a lot of metal but I never really associated enough with punk and hardcore shit to get into band patches/battle jackets, think it looks cool though
I do sometimes sometimes put flags or esoteric political organization patches on my shirts and jackets though just because I think they look cool
            >picrel

          • Sieg heil says:

I like the idea of an over dyed fleck yarn being the basis of the jacket.

As for the politics and anti-fa trying to seem cool , you’ll grow out of it.

Whatever association you want with the group once you hit about 21 years old you’ll see how pathetic those kids are

I like those two. Hilarious you have communists on this board who claim you can’t wear some camos or milsurp in public because people will call you a race hater, meanwhile you can wear a Black Magic SS patch in an antifa bar (whatever that is). I’d ask where to get the RAC patch but I have like 15 patches I have lying around with nothing to put them on.

Basically this, I get along with gays but I am morally opposed to their actions, it goes the same for people who choose to be my friend despite not having aligning spiritual or political views

yeah, I’m buddies with a homosexual, one of my best friends is an atheist who hates the Church, other one of my best friends is a Protestant who hates the Church, my entire family is practically pagan. I’m not really close with any Catholics besides my sponsor, and I don’t particularly enjoy the company of any Catholics I know besides priests and deacons and seminarians. Only people I have cut off are my friends I used to use drugs with, who are just druggie degens and we have nothing in common. It’s sad because I remember growing up with these kids since elementary school, and I remember how great it was before any of us touched drugs. It was almost perfect.

Punk was always for overly emotional soft boy twink types

Greenway even did a song about graduating high school where these punk kids cry to.

You never see these punk jackets on 6’5” jacked chads because they don’t need the gutter punk aesthetic to look intimidating.

These punks are almost always 5’4-5-6” and wear a medium at best

      And have mostly girl friends

Like take the above kid, “you got guys for wearing that on anti-fa turf”

I’ve never met a masculine man who actually feared anti-fa it’s always frail vegan type men with neon hair
