Where do you meet girls online who are 25+?

Where do you meet girls online who are 25+?

If you join any gaming or anime related discord every single "girl" is like half my age. Where do the terminally online 25-30 year old women hang out? It certainly isn't anime community or gaming community discords, even though I'm sure they all partake in those activities too. I just want to talk with girls in my age bracket about stuff, but it seems like I've out aged the internet.

I hang out here, because I'm too internet poisoned to fit in anywhere else. 32 years old.

I've spent so much time here and communities like here, where you can say more or less whatever you want, that I have trouble telling where the line is with normal people.

Oh, so basically you've lost your ability to mask. You don't think it's something that you can regain though? You're a grown ass man and I know I don't have to tell you this, but having people irl to talk with and hangout is important for a person's mental health.

            >man
I just don't really hang out with people. The few friends I had growing up are all married with kids now. I work from home, not really talking to people for it. I see my family and the guy who works at the store near my place regularly and that's about it. I think I talk to my cat more than I do all people combined.

I understand the cats and the cradle, but can't you still take an interest in your friends with kids? A friend of the family is a thing that's been around for a while. I don't see why you couldn't kind of fit that position for them and their kids, am I missing something?

A lot of them are just busy with their families. I also don't really like being around kids. I can't have my own and it can be upsetting.

I'm the same way honestly, it's very difficult to just find people who have a similar mindset at our age. It's just kind of like being on the outside looking in, which I don't really like feeling to be honest. Especially nowadays where everyone is work from home, I rarely even leave my house except for my daily jog, but even then I do that at night. It's not like I'll meet anyone who shares similar interests out there.

I pretty much just go out to buy groceries nowadays. Almost anything I need to do can be done from home. Once in a while I drive into the city to look at computer parts or go to one of the independent video game stores.

I can't handle kids either myself, but I'm not opposed to having kids provided my sperm still works after decades of microplastics and goyslop. At least I'm not fat I suppose, so maybe it works who knows.

I think a lot of that just ties into modern society where you can do mostly everything from home, moreso post-china plague, and people just don't meet each other anymore. I'm not a social person, I hate crowds, but I also feel a bit lonely at times too which sucks.

I've found myself starting to look forward to family stuff a lot more than I used to, because it's pretty much the only contact I get anymore.
                >At least I'm not fat I suppose, so maybe it works who knows.
Apparently weight is one of the worst things for fertility, for both genders, so that's a good start.

Yeah, I think the family stuff is more important to me too because a lot of my relatives are getting older and it's quite disturbing to think about how they'll all be gone in a few short years. I really don't want to think about it, but seeing my mom get older in the past 5 or so years has really hit me hard.

It kind of makes me think that family really means something and being alone is not going to end well in the future, even if it's with something not ideal or not with my "dream girl" or anything. I think at this point it's going to be whoever can deal with me and even then that's a stretch.

Ok, I kind of understand better. Even if you were to be around them you might become annoyed and resentful which isn't fair to anyone. You athletic at all by chance?

Not really, but I keep sort of in shape. Daily exercise at home (stationary bike riding, aerobics when I get up, that kind of thing) and my diet is mostly lean meats and veggies out of habit. I doubt I would do well with any sustained exercise like a jog or something.

I worry a lot about losing my older brother. We've always been very close and he's almost 40 now.
                >It kind of makes me think that family really means something and being alone is not going to end well in the future
I think I have a pretty good idea of where my life is headed and it's either dying alone or dying surrounded by nieces/nephews and their kids. I was okay with this for a long time but it has become increasingly difficult to cope with.

I don't even know if we have anything like that around here. There's bowling in the city but that's all I know of. That or joining a mcdojo.

Don't know what a mcdojo is but wouldn't hurt to look around for what I said or similar things. I have a cousins who's in his 50s who is part of a volleyball league (beach) so I don't think you're too old.

                >Don't know what a mcdojo is
Those crappy little "dojos" or martial arts classes that are usually for kids, basically. One of my little brothers was in one as a kid. There isn't really much else around here that I know of.

I feel like a lot of those worries are kind of just coming to a head now with me too, especially since my best friend had a kid last year and we've barely spoken since. It just feels weird, I'm in a weird place, I don't really like it. I wonder if just being with someone, no kids or whatever, is something that would sort of make things feel less weird.

Did you end up with the cyst issues? My cousin had to get her ovaries removed cause of that when she was 17 and she just turned to drugs, heroin mostly...probably to cope.

The worst for me is that a kid I used to babysit just had twins. I babysat her when I was in high school. I can remember chasing this little brat around butt naked because she had no shame and didn't want to take a bath. Now she's got a family and I've got nobody.

My uterus is shaped just wrong enough that a baby can't properly develop in it. Not enough blood flow or something. Could theoretically use a surrogate but my situation is unique enough in ways I'd rather not say that I can't really get one. Might adopt eventually. Been using a lot of marijuana to help cope. It's legal here so fuck it.

I think what hit me is my friend I used to play games with 10+ years ago has a kid who's going to be in middle school now. It's like holy shit, where the fuck did everything go. I don't like this at all.

Yeah definitely sounds shitty especially since it cuts out a major point of human function. They legalized weed here this year, but I just dislike drugs to cope because I don't feel any better when I come down from my high anyways, what's the point. So pointless I dunno.

Going to sleep - if you want talk about our sorrows further what's your disc, can just use a burner or whatever.

yes, if you had a woman you would slot in better.

the problem is that your buddies will change their lives by adding a permanent woman to it, and then they'll change their lives further by adding kids to it. these two things change their lives so much that they lose any sense of similarity with you as the single guy. you're like a relic of a life cycle they left behind years ago. relationships are built on shared experience. the less you share, the more distant you'll be.

anyway, the best thing to do in the short term is make friends with their kids. parents of young kids only care about what their kids care about. you get in good with them, you're good. otherwise you're fucked.

I'm 31 and it's increasingly difficult for me to find any sort of common ground with any sort of group I come across. I suppose I don't really know where to look, but I figured I'd join a few things I'm interested in and talk to people and frankly it sucks, maybe talking to people here is better - considering we're both 30+

idk, i'm 22 and I usually dont hang arround communities anymore, too troublesome, too many people to meet

if I play with someone around my age, is because of a pug or a friend of a friend

maybe that's why you dont find that many 25 y/o players

I think that's just kind of an issue though, like just talking to people or networking or whatever is kind of shitty at this age. I feel like I missed out on the dawn of the internet age where you could fly some girl you met online out easily, and then by the time I was able to afford that or do some sort of nonsense with that, the ability to do so has dried up completely due to the oversaturation of internet in our lives.

I've found the same thing too. The age differences can make it tough to talk about stuff.
        >mention liking retro games
        >"Oh like PS3?"
        >actually meant 4th (SNES, Genesis) and 5th (N64, Saturn, PS1) gen consoles
Just stuff like that. It's frustrating.

It's bad with anime too, stuff that I enjoyed as a teen/early 20s is mostly unheard of now or seen as a "classic". Toradora is not a classic man, it aired in 2009 when I graduated high school. That's not that long ago, it's not some 1970s show.

It's very hard to speak with people who have a completely different world view, which is why I wish there was a place I could talk to fellow 25+ people about stuff that wasn't just normiebook. One of my friends met a girl in a discord who's 27 and he's 30 and they've been having a LDR which I'm frankly jealous of in some ways. It's something I want to do to cause she's exactly the same as us, an aging millennial.

I've seen a bit of that too. The anime I watched in high school/college anime clubs is considered old now and that just...man. It weirds me out when somebody talks about a childhood favorite of theirs that came out when I was in my 20s.
