this is the biggest meme on this board and a constant reminder that it’s filled with insecure plebs looking to spend their money and comsoome.

Just buy the jacket if you like it you gay.

So then it will be easy for you consoomers to name the brands that don’t make their shit in east asian sweatshops.

A lot of places make Harrington jackets in tweed. Here’s one https://www.peterchristianoutfitters.com/amber-harris-tweed-harrington-jacket/

If you buy this brand and are not royalty or some rich snob, you look like a total tryhard loser and definitely not /fashion/, especially if you’re under cca 25. Honestly I would rather be seen wearing Zara shit than this yuppie crap

          • Anonymous says:

            >You have to be rich to wear a Harrington jacket made of wool
Pls put all spiteful poorgays and brown "people" (but I repeat myself) into meat grinders

Here’s another one OP, but it’s only 75% wool 25% nylon probably made in some third world place https://bonobos.com/products/the-italian-wool-bomber

            >Dude you’re poor cause you don’t want to spend 400bucks on a shitty jacket!

Wanting to buy high quality so you only have to buy it once is literally the opposite of consooming you stupid

This is the most stupid argument ever, how long are you planning on wearing one single jacket? Do you honestly believe the Zara jacket couldn’t survive 3-4 seasons, and by that time you’ll be bored of it anyways or just change your style?
As I said, you’re just insecure little kids thinking a brand will grant you fashion points, and more importantly, make you magically look attractive. Not happening.

            >Does the whole poorgay "wanting to have nice (and thus more expensive) clothes is le snobby, yuppy, royal, MEANIE HEAD ELITIST (which is le bad)" number
            >Now claims suddenly that he cares about quality for price
            >Also says you should just buy shitty clothes and wear them for a long time as long as they’re serviceable
Serious question: why are you posting on this board if you don’t want people to buy clothes?

            Learn to read stupid
            also the butthurt in this thread is something else. It just boils down to;
            >Fast fashion is bad because… hmm… becau…well it just is, okay!?
All the while it was a fast fashion clothing piece that inspired him in the first place.

          • Anonymous says:

Fast fashion is bad because the clothes are shit you hecking moron, that is what literally everyone has been saying the entire thread

          • Anonymous says:

The jacket in the OP looks fine to me. And I’ve never had clothes or shoes that lasted less than I needed them.

          • Anonymous says:

Youve NEVER had an item of clothing wear out within a 4 year time frame? Are you perhaps a nudist 5 days a week? Do you just not wear shoes?

          • Anonymous says:

Maybe sneakers, the soles on my sneakers get worn out but if I have two pairs of sneakers they’re good for 4 years at least (I don’t wear them during winter).

As for other clothes, not really. When I was fat I was having jeans blow out after a year or so when I was wearing only one pair almost every day, but now that’s not happening because I’m slimmer and I have like four pairs of pants in rotation.

          • Anonymous says:

Only "needing" garbage clothes is not a virtue. I’m better than you because I need well built clothes that will last 20 years.

          • Anonymous says:

Meh, I give away or throw away all my clothes and shoes and appliances every time I move cities (last time 18 months ago, longest in one place was 6 years).

Imagine treating clothes as heirlooms. Imagine not changing your style for 20 years. Imagine worrying if they lose your bags when you travel. It’s just clothes, they’re meant to look nice on you and protect you from the elements and that’s it.

          • Anonymous says:

            >well built clothes that will last 20 years
The funny thing and what you gays don’t seem to grasp is that this is a lie abd what you kids call "cope".

          • Anonymous says:

Sorry for not being some trend obsessed gay who feels the need to change out his wardrobe every year

I wear what I like, and I want to keep wearing it so I buy quality

          • Anonymous says:

I have a wool coat I’ve been wearing for 6 years, its still in very good condition and when it gets damaged i get it fixed by a tailor. I will probably still be wearing it in 20 years

          • Anonymous says:

I also have a Esprit jacket for 6 years, whats your point?
            >I will probably still be wearing it in 20 years
Highly doubtful you’ll wear it for a other 5 years even, clothes fade and wear out no matter what.

          • Anonymous says:

            >can’t conceive of not buying clothes every 2 years
and you have the gall to call other consoomers

          • Anonymous says:

Yes I buy clothes all the time in 2nd hand stores, and I don’t shy away from fast fashion stuff if I like how it looks and most importantly how it looks on me.

    • Anonymous says:

      >YOU CANT JUST HECKIN SPEND MONEY ON THINGS YOU WANT THATS CONSOOOMING
stupid. The consoomer meme is about having bad taste, not buying things.

    • Anonymous says:

Absolute idiot who’s never owned a decent article of clothing in his life

This is what happens when you grow up on a steady diet of Wal-Mart and Zara clothes

    • Anonymous says:

      this is from Zara
it’s fast fashion which rips off designs of actual proper clothing brands, uses cheaper materials and labor, and sells for half the price
OP is obviously asking for examples of the people they ripped off, as they like the look but doesn’t want to waste their money on cheap shit that’s going to fall apart

  3. Anonymous says:

buy that one and if you see it fits well with your wardrobe, then invest in a higher quality one if you think it’s worth it

though when I buy some Zara/H&M stuff, I usually don’t buy anything better because it’s already good enough or I end up not wearing it as much as I thought I would
