I knew it since I was a child to be honest and suffered from being aware of this. At least many ugly-faced people can escape into a fantasy world by believing into the power of hair and clothes.

Its the one real fashionpill honestly. I have a mediocre to somewhat ugly face, but I make up for it slightly by being skinny. Even then, every now and then I will look in the mirror and have a sudden realization that "wow, this fit looks like shit and you are way out of your element"

When I saw a gopnik and a groomed guy in an adidas track suit
it’s unreal how much clear skin a haircut and glasses can change the perception of a "low class" outfit employed by some low level thugs

simplistic take from a loser mindset, you could claim that health is all genetic and eating well wont help you at all…

But he didn’t claim that… How do you know it’s a loser mindset and OP isn’t attractive? It sounds to me like you are projecting your own ugliness.

what are you trying to say? projecting my own ugliness? i dont care about op, you seem to lack basic comprehension skills. instead of drowning in your own insecurities go out and take a breath.

Not true. I know a guy at my uni whose face looks absolutely flawless, he even has the rare black hair + blue eyes combo and is well over 1,90 m tall, but he’s such a sperg and dresses like absolute shit, I mean I like the guy but it makes me so mad how much potential gets lost here, idk if he has a gf but he definitely does not have a wide social circle.

It’s scaled. A nice face makes what you are wearing nicer, but even so for any facal attractiveness there exists a sufficiently bad fit such that the face does not save the outfit.

when i lost bodyfat and realized im pretty handsome and suddenly clothes looked good on me
goes for rest of the body too not just the face though

That’s true to an extent, but that also says that you’re into fashion for other people. You should be into fashion because you like fashion, but to attract others or communicate wealth, that’s cringe. I wear cool clothes because I like cool clothes.

      fashion is always about communication.
but communicating is secondary to the truth.

its clothes and you should be comfortable.

But yeah it’s all about the face. You don’t even have to be attractive per say. but your styl should fit your face.
