Are there any of these that are good at heart rate BPM for exercising don’t don’t require making unnecessary accounts just to use the damn watch?

I have one to play songs while I'm at the gym or running, it's pretty nice to not have to carry your phone with you while training.

If it's not paired to your phone where do you get the songs from? Local storage?

Yep. Or spotify, the Garmin model I have you can download your spotify playlists into it.

the bigger models have their own SIM card and mobile connection, you can make calls too, essentially a small smartphone

Home gym master race. I plug my phone into my home theater system and control my playlist with my watch.

Some of them do have limited local storage, I think the latest Samsung ones.

For me, it's an invaluable tool for tracking my workouts. If you don't exercise, I wouldn't get one.

Lazy retards like seeing number go up on the step counter so they can pretend like taking 2000 steps in a day is an actual accomplishment.

apple watch ultra is the only one worth buying

“Worth buying” is still a stretch. I have one. It’s still just an Apple Watch, lacking in available software. There’s a .txt reader out there, but it’s not available to install from USA region.

No - the only point of the Ultra is if its treated as a prestige item, which it isn't by definition, because of planned obsolescence.

that’s watch is for larders and c-tier execs to signal to others. Not for anyone in any kind of training regimen. Battery is a joke

Honestly the only good reason to have a smartwatch is if you're an active person, in my case I like to track my running stats and I like to not have to carry my phone to listen to music while I'm at the gym or running.

If you're a lazy fuck who sits on your ass all day long or if you stay glued to your phone nonstop, there's no reason at all to have a smartwatch.

    >Want to buy Galaxy Watch 5 Pro since I'm on Android.
    >According to reviews Apple Watches have the best sensor in every aspect and it's not even close
    >Android smart watch with the most accurate sensor is Huawei

I guess I'm not buying a smart watch

My aunt and uncle have one and they just throw money at anything basically, she actually works out but he just uses it to justify his eating habits (he's literally 300 lbs) and they literally wear it 24/7 except in the shower, until the latest model comes out atleast. Most of the people who I see wear em are out of shape, and out where I live there aren't many fat (white) people, so that tells you something right there.

Get a Garmin for battery life and health stuff. I can’t for the life of me understand why folks want an Apple Watch. Their app ecosystem sucks so much ass. Anyone I’ve ever asked just uses it as a second notification screen. I track workouts, hiking and cycling metrics which Apple absolutely sucks donkey dick at
