What's the most effay Rolex watch? I'm getting a rep so I can get anything. Best model and color?

its better to get a homage piece than a rep, for eg if u want a submariner u can look for a invicta pro diver or a casio duro, at least u can get a warranty and better qc for those watches

The Rolex Day Date is not possible to fake. The real ones are made of heavy precious metals. The weight difference alone would be obvious. The 40mm version in particular is tough to fake with its movement.

    Just buy the real thing

    Day Date 36 > Date just 36 > Day Date 40 > Cellini > Day Date 41

Submarines and Daytonas are ugly and are not worth consideration.

whats do you do for a living?
do you earn enough to make people believe you can actually afford a 50k watch? if not everybody will think you’re just an insecure poser

Yeah I could afford it if I really wanted to. I’m a cheap ass though and I’m not a watch purist. I just really like the look of the Rolex. I don’t really mind saying its a watch. I just really like the watch because it completes the aesthetic I am going for.

            >so what do you do for a living exactly because I seriously doubt it
Over 50% of Rolex’s customers make less than 6 figures annually

Rolex makes affordable watches. I don’t know why everybody associate them with luxury. Honestly if by your 30s you can’t even throw 10k at a Submariner then you have pretty much failed.

            >I don’t know why everybody associate them with luxury
            because they’re 10, 20k.
if they were still 2k like they used to be then you’d have a point.

I wouldn’t doubt it. There’s also a ton more "rich" guys wearing reps out there than you’d think. I work in a decently high paying sales position (avg ~180k/yr) and I know of multiple coworkers who routinely wear datejust and sub clones despite being more than able to afford legit pieces. I’m not even kidding when I say you legitimately cannot tell the difference holding a genuine and a good replica in your hands side by side.

Just get a replica no-date submariner if you really want to stunt on the general population. No one outside of us watchfags knows any other luxury brand anyways. You can get a great one now for like 100 bucks shipped that 99.99% of people outside of watch autists won’t be able to know if it’s real or fake.

Yup Submariner is my second choice. I am just a little worried about the black not always matching with my fits. Thinking grey might do a little better. Def a based watch though. Will eventually get it if not now.

    >can’t afford a Rolex
    >buy a $500 fake
    >"I-I swear I can afford the real thing!!"
    Many such cases.
Enjoy your $10 chinese shitter that will break in 6 months.

      >t. watch autist who paid $5k for his shit rolex and is now ass blasted that someone else can achieve the same with $600

many such cases on this piece of shit fashion board. i, unlike you, am not here to impress other autistic men anon.

I’m fine with you spending $600 on a $10 chink shitter with "Rolex" printed on it. Please do it and come back here in 6 months to tell us how things are going for you.

        >oh no anon you were right, my watch is 10 seconds behind time, its hecking over

Anyone who’s had a cheap mechanical watch (under $1k) knows you only get utter garbage in that price point. I’ve had a few Seiko and micro-shitters in the past, here’s how it’s really like:
        >watch loses 20s a day at best
        >sometimes it will lose a minute or more and you don’t know why
        >power reserve is never as good as advertised
        >sometimes the crown gets stuck
        >sometimes the self winding mechanism stops working
        >sometimes the date wheel just break
        >90% chance of the movement shitting itself in less than 3 years (enjoy spending $300 for servicing a $500 watch)
        >bracelets and clasps become loose and rately very quickly, links will break after a while
        >rotating bezel will either be stuck at some point, or stop clicking
I’m talking about brands with actual quality control. I’ll let you imagine what’s the quality of chink shitters assembled in some dirty sweatshop in Wuhan sold on the black market.

        >spending $600 on a watch that will stop running in a few months time
might not be an issue for you op, after all you sound like moron who wouldn’t be able to read a clock anyways
