$800 for a decent starter suit on sale. Followed buy about $280ish for a pair of AE Oxfords on sale.

I’m going to lawgay school in a year (Max two if this cycle doesn’t work out). So they will be used.

I mean she’s bought a fair amount of expensive shit for me. Not clothing, but other things.

How much of that is you? Once again, just curious. What’s the point of combining your incomes when telling someone ‘your’ net worth when you guys aren’t even married?

It’s about 60-40, with a bit of variation year from year. She’s in big law, so there’s always a potential for performance bonuses for her. I’m salaried in quantitative consulting and it’s pretty fixed. We’re not married, but we have a joint bank account that about 2/3 of our individual incomes go into to pay for joint expenses like rent, utilities, car payments, food.

        Chink money

        Nah. We earn it.

400€ for a winter coat with real down feathers inside. 100% worth it.

Then i’ve had a lot of 200€ spending than i do regret (sunglasses, shoes), i should have gone the extra 100 or 200€ and upgraded every time.

$500 on a Kapital longsleeve tee lol. I usually buy secondhand so I never need to spend more than $300 on any single item, but since there are so many fakes of their work online, and since I love them, I decided to buy it from them direct brand new to show my support and to avoid the no-good stinky scammers.

€400 for a weatherproof shell jacket made out of some north pole explorer approved material.
Has kept me dry for 5 years now and if I wear a sweater underneath it’s pretty much a wintercoat.

Three hundred dollars for the exact same “electroplated” model Cartier Tank seen in this article but second hand.

It would be roughly 5K if bought new. It’s missing the sapphire but I wear it as hebrewelry anywhere so I don’t care. Also it is only 30 bucks to replace the sapphire if I wanted to.

400-450€ for a water resistant Moorer Fall/Wintercoat.I wear it 3/4 of the year so it has been worth it.Pic related.
250€ for Incotex wool trousers.Sadly I got fatter and they no longer fit.
160€ for a dress shirt.Van Laack or Stenstroms I think.
