    Tgirls still look like girls.
Same as how people like drinking soda even though it isn't healthy. It has attributes of flavor that derive from things that used to matter for evolutionary biology in the past.

yea but i heard many guys say that the penis makes it better and i dont get that

eye tracking studies of normal cishet guys watching straight porn showed they pay just as much if not more attention to the penis as breasts and ass. and pornhub data shows mtf porn is way more popular than the amount of guys who self describe as chasers or whatever. soo basically, male sexuality projects and interprets itself through the medium of the penis and trans girls having one makes them both easier to understand sexually and more attractive

attraction to secondary sex characteristics is far stronger than attraction to the primary sex characteristics. very reasonably a straight male could be only attracted to the female form but have no repulsion to penises (if they are on a female form)
for the preference of a penis (GAMP) i assume several factors
-some 'men' want to bottom for women (because they are repressing trannies)
-a penis has a more obvious response to arousal, stimulation, and climax. which in turn may arouse the male more to know what their partner is feeling.
-a penis on a female form is an inherent sign that she enjoys femininity, having intentionally changed her body in this way. men may also see this as a sign of submissiveness, again serving to arouse him

        and im sure more reasons

For me it's not the penis.
You might not believe me, but I'm anonymous and don't really have anything to gain by lying.
What makes tgirls hot to me is the emasculation. The fact they used to be male and are now girls.
It's a bit of a sadism thing. I've only ever been with cis girls in real life but I think I'd be even more aroused by a tgirl because of that feeling of fricking someone who used to be just another guy but got altered into a cute little cumbawd who's submissive and needs to be held like a regular girl would.
Getting a tgf and then having her neutered would be peak romantic bonding too. Or srs to go even more extreme.

moron, traits have reasons for being selected. When someone says:

You can clarify what they're saying as:
            >for what reason did nature select for X

            >for what reason did nature select for X
Only people with absolutely crippling autism don't get that.

that's not how natural selection works. not all traits which are acquired are beneficial, they just don't lead to elimination of the gene by some disadvantage. only certain traits, typically those which influence procreation or lifespan, are positively selected. the existence of a trait doesn't mean it was 'selected', it just means it wasn't eliminated. if it's prominent/common it will have been reinforced for one reason or another
additionally, this isn't how evolutionary psychology works. it's not about developing automatic cognitive/sensory responses, it's about the capacity to create those pathways, to feel certain impulses such as hunger and sexual frustration and rage. the connection of these impulses to an object is a matter of developmental, not evolutionary, psychology. read freud's three essays on sexuality

            no

I clarified that already, moron. The actual answer to OP's question is that the chaser trait hasn't had the opportunity to be expressed in a significant way until recently and so it's possible it won't be selected for at all. But if it is selected for, there will be a reason.

            >the connection of these impulses to an object is a matter of developmental, not evolutionary, psychology
This isn't how evolution or genetics work. Even if something is the result of development there is a genetic basis for why the developmental process has that result. Every trait has genetics and development entangled this way. You can never isolate a trait and say it's exclusively the matter of one or the other.

            >this is partially correct but overemphasizes the importance of genetics over experience in the developmental process
No, it's completely correct. Genetics and development are completely entangled, neither is more or less important than the other. You could have a specific trait with low heritability but that just means the variance of that trait within a population isn't majorly genetic, not that the trait itself isn't still based on genetics. Please don't talk about shit you know nothing about.

            bagel

you're reducing this to traits in general, i'm specifically talking about psychological traits. people aren't hardwired for a language, their genetics inform their ability to learn and pronounce certain phonemes but these are ultimately the foundation for development, and the process of development is more influential on their use of language (accent, dialect, phrases, grammar, etc are informed by this). the same applies for psychology
what you said is true of anatomical traits, i never disputed that. i also never said genetics don't play a role, but it's important to not confuse the role genetics play in biological processes with genetic determinism/essentialism

No, it's true of all traits including psychological ones. Which native language you speak is almost certainly going to have low heritability when looking at natural populations but that's not something innate to that trait. You could devise an environment where it has high heritability.
