Just going on what i've seen yet not actual research.. I think Korea has more prostitution than Japan, Japan is slightly smarter when it comes to tech, Korean food has more variety, and Koreans understand English better than Japs.
With all that said, Korean girls are cute but I believe Japanese women have prettier faces. Where would I permanently live? I'm not sure.
