Safety razors are by far the best way to shave https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ThdmvuBAcQ8&pp=ygUdU2FmZXR5IHJhem9yIGhvdyB0byBnZW9mYXRib3k%3D

Any answer that isn’t straight of from the reddit algorithm? Npcs no need to reply

are you confusing safety razors with straight razors? there’s nothing reddit or even particularly hipster about DE at all

hecking stupids. Who says you have to buy the fancy shave creams and brushes? Congrats on giving up all of your money to the Gillete globohomo quadblades with moisterizing strip. Safety Razor is superior.

it doesnt, mine lasted 5 years before falling apart
            >change the razor head once in 3 months for $3
it will be blunt after 3/4 shaves
            >shave without cuts every time in 2 minutes
skill issue if you cant do it with a safety razor

I do that with a DE razor. With even a little practice they’re just as fast as whatever 8 bladed crap Gillette is selling. You’re just too stubborn to admit that you’re dumb enough to get conned out of your money.

whats the best razor for people who are not pretentious hipsters and value their time?

Straight razors suck dick. Real men use the best availible, not some
Larp because your father didn’t spend time with you.
The answer is dollar shave club, or whatever the other brand that is simular is in stores now, $8 for two six blade razors that have lasted me three months.
I used a straight razor in college, always a shitty cutting shave, had to replace constantly because I actually have facial hair that needs trimming once a day. heck these bespoke mennist art of manliest gays they dont have enough T to grow a beard
Grew this the past couple weeks for no shave November, can’t wait to use a real razor to get rid of it. Products are not personalities, dont buy shitty old crap because “grandpa would”
Mother hecker grandpa used it because it was cheap and the best at the time, dollar shave or lonnies or whatever to other cheap as shit brand you can get in cvs is the choice now.
If you had to ask you’re a hecking teenager tho get the heck off this site dont come back

You constantly replaced your straight razor? I can’t thing of any explanation for this statement that doesn’t involve you being a stupid. Either you don’t know the difference between a straight razor and a safety razor, in which case you’re a stupid. Or you constantly replaced a razor that was meant to be sharpened, in which case you’re a stupid.

      Also here to say this….
I used to always use an electric razor and my face was completely hecked. I’m in the navy and it was hell getting shit in chiefs quarters for having a bad shave and irritated neck. My COB got me a safety razor with some little replaceable plates so you could choose how much tension is on the blade and how hard it cuts. I set it on the plate that says 4, used some shaving cream (cremo) and it blew my mind how close the shave was. By the next week I no longer had that permanent rash on my neck. For the blades, I still have the big box of blades I got over a year ago. I only replace the blades on monday.

If you have to shave every day and need a perfect smooth shave, I can’t think of anything else. Better than spending over $200 on some braun electric shit that will heck up your face.

almost everything /fashion/ requires more effort than the standard slob uniform. heck off and never come back

you know that performant men have rituals too, right?
Taking 10 mins to shave will not make you unable to work

for balls you want a non aggressive handle, close comp with narrow foam gap
for the rest of the body it literally doesnt matter, everything works

im no woman nor claim to be one
but i guess shaving the bush is no different from pits.
ive read dozens of stories from people whos wives evade the pink tax by permanently "borrowing" their safety or straight razor for body hair removal.

Gillette just works. One blade lasts me 6 months because I only shave once a week. b***hes compliment my stubble so I don’t need to be clean shaven all the time. Changing my routine to shave off the equivalent of a few cents every day isn’t worth the hassle.

whats the difference between a 40$ Electric beard trimmer and a 200$ one?

pic related is getting shilled way too much to be any good right?

    • Anonymous says:

it’s great. roughly equivalent to an electric foil, worse than a safety razor but serves its purpose very well. they also last a ridiculously long time

    • Anonymous says:

I’ve used this for about 5 years now, and I love it. Don’t get so suspicious you start passing up good products because you think everything is a shill.
You’ll get about as close to an actual shave but little to no irritation. Basically imagine it’s been about 12 hours since you shaved with a razor. That’s what you can expect. And it’s hella convenient. I usually just wait till I get to work and shave in the bathroom since I don’t need foam or anything.
The only downside I can think of is the battery is ass, and if it’s not 80% charged or more, the trimmer gets sluggish and isn’t as good.

I know it’s kind of a YouTube meme at this point but I really like my straight razor from henson. My girlfriend bought me one of the sets with 100 blades after seeing an ad on some gay YouTube videos, and it’s been super easy and I still haven’t needed to buy more blades after a little over a year. Definitely pricey bullshit upfront for the handle but it pays for itself by not needing to buy replaceable refill cartridges for like $40 every couple months.

Big Gillette has me by the balls, my beard is coarse and it’s blunted by the second week. I try to stretch it to a month but man, it gets real dicey by the 1st.

  6. Anonymous says:

Unironically, try the disposable pack of 10 for $2 kind. They’ll often have one blade, which I prefer as it is way less irritation than the Hyperion Shrike every razor blade tries to be now with 5+ hecking blades
