Wrangler cowboy slims are worthless, they are too tight in the seat and make the pockets worthless.

Duluth firehouse slim are great but they are more of a work pant.

Don’t say stupid shit like Levi 511.

I like a higher rise but it’s difficult to find for men.

Something with high rise that is not too baggy not too slim with a smaller leg opening and good fabric that isn’t too thin or too thick. Does it exist?

Any Jean inspired by the Levi’s 501. The 501 went through many different dimensions throughout the years, changing the height of the rise and the amount of taper at the ankle, but generally denim makers will have a selection of 501-inspired cuts. There’s plenty of denim makers who make the 501 cut with a high rise and that classic straight leg. In my opinion, it’s always better to go with Japanese companies. Check out Sugar Cane or TCB. If you want the absolute best of the best (more $$), check out Samurai or Iron Heart

Have you tried Wrangler’s standard fit Cowboy Cut Active Flex? I’m wearing them right now. They fit much better than the slims and are very thick denim but still have plenty of stretch. And the rise is adequate unless you have a heinously long asscrack.

Levis 551z have 11.5inch rise. Levis 501 93 have 11.5 inch rise. Levis 550 92 have 11.5 inch rise. Levis loose fit jeans have 12 inch rise.
