Considering what he actually did while in power he probably would have found a way to fuck it up even worse. There's a lot of disinformation about Libya on the Internet and it was in reality an incredibly poor country and Gaddafi deliberately imported sub Saharan Africans into the country to fuck over the people already there since there were tribes who never reconciled to his rule.
Bro Africa would have been a superpower by now. He was the one that jump-started the African Union and made it into what it is today. He also wanted to decouple it from the West and dedollarize it and create a common currency. Needless to say this bothered many many people. Killing him didn't just slow down this transition but sent a message to the continent to whoever shared in his vision.
His involvement in Europe's affairs was kind off based, like when he started sending weapons to the IRA in Northern Ireland. Makes me wonder if the British Government ever thought for a moment "so that's how it feels when a foreign country intervenes in your own affairs"
Less people would have died during the floods
how?

A literal paradise on earth.
