unironically this is still good advice, even if you live in a shithole this can save your ass, it worked for me, I can live easy for a couple of years and even try my luck with things like PLEB, I just wish I had learned before I was 26

Doubt its as easy as people claim, at least in terms of getting a job with it

Have you been messaging recruiters on linkedin? You need to be constantly improving and embellishing your resume, going over interview prep (even if you aren't getting interviews, it lets you know what employers are looking for), applying, and cold-messaging recruiters. A lot of people who don't get jobs out of college didn't get hired because they through together a sloppy overly honest or obnoxiously inflated resume sent out a hundred apps on Indeed and called it a day.

      >the typical american
And I live in america. You dont have to do any of this you either get the job or you don't. I know people, doing all that extra stuff is pointless it just amounts to apply more. There is no point to "interview practice" unless you fumble so badly every time on every question. And even then you can still get hired kek. You remind of that loser temp agency telling me I need to be "connecting" with people and unironically even mentioning twitter to job hunt lel

    This what i did:
Bought food caravan with hotdog machine and donut machine.
Got a food licence from council.
Rang manager of street market, asked if i could bring my caravan. He said yes.
Went to all kinds of festivals even a Bruce Springsteen concert -- made tons of cash, had awesome time.

everything thing that was needed has been coded now. Now you can just grab code and glue it with chatgpt or copilot at best.

    > Fell for the "learn to code bro" meme
    > Doesn't realize the field is extremely oversaturated because of said meme (I know - I was a coder for 5 years at a company but it took me 7 months after college to get ONE job offer despite hundreds of job applications and dozens of interviews)
    > AI will gradually, but soon aggressively take away all coder jobs

Sorry bud, let this be a very painful but valuable lesson to learn in your life - NEVER listen to meme advice, most especially if you're looking to "make it".

P.S.: If you wish to ignore what I said above, you can at least get noticed by recruiters on linkedin - hint: you need a GREAT network and some side projects you've uploaded to GitHub

All codenaggers must move to europe. Baltics is probably the best place. You will get a decent job in a week. You will make less than in US and western europe but it will be 3-5x more than median wage. Estonia is probably the best option
