Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers, especially as Generation Alpha become adults they will want 2010s hardware for nostalgia just like Zoomers fawn over CRTs now.
That chart is wrong. 99% of goods depreciate over time and bottom out to cost to make it and its effective utility.
Collector items are niche, boutique shit that rarely increases in value. Anything that has rapid value increase is merely a front for money laundring, ponzi-like schemes and tax evasion by rich collectors.
CRTs are garbage tier non-sense that are nearly worthless. You have pay people to get them off your hands.
Retarded contrarian hipsters (love getting bamboozled) are the exception not the rule.
Again only retarded contrarian hipsters with deep pockets would get that for that price. The vast majority would simply give it away for free as nobody sane will touch it.
A modern LCD for the same price point blows it away in nearly every metric.

You need to search sold items. Asking price means nothing, but I'm pretty sure you knew that.
Start scraping up old Xbox 360 and PS3 titles. This is subjective, but go for the more obscure but fun titles. They will start increasing in value in the next few years, and this is the last gen you'll be able to do this with. 8th and 9th generation titles are concentrated to a few yearly AAA releases so there's little room for scarcity, and anything else is download only.
Nope, 360 and PS3 will continue to bottom out and be regard as cultural artifacts and curiosities like how old cartridges are for ancient, defunct gayming consoles.
The recent grading and explosion of prices on retro gaymes is nothing but a ponzi-scheme by rich investors (money laundering/tax evasion). They are transferring wealth from suckers who are blinded by short-term greed who don't understand how the game is played.
Generic gaming PCs because within 10-20 years gaming will have moved to a subscription model with thin clients using cloud gaming services. Anyone wanting to play older PC games or emulators with illegal roms will not be catered for.
nah. both onlive and stadia have proved this can't and won't work. the latency is too high. that's a fundamental problem with how the internet is set up. unless we discover/create a new material that allows us to dramatically reduce latency, this won't happen.
something that could every much happen though is something like graphics cards refusing to run approved games or something like that, or running at a reduced clock speed or something like that.
Nope, they are utterly worthless. SCSI CD drives are useless as the hardware platform that can drive are hopelessly out of date and you can easily emulate/create VMs on modern systems that perfectly replicate the same experience.
they're for the samplers
old sample CD's have proprietary formats, so you have to use real hardware and a SCSI cd
also you could say that about literally anything
fb, cl, goodwill, your classifieds site of preference. or just swing over to a recycling center and pay somebody to toss you a crt. unless you find the "high-end" shit though you're wasting your time and money.

Exactly. There's 0 passable monitors for sale. I'm living in UK. If there's nothing on fb there's nothing elsewhere too.

Good. Invest elsewhere. Trying to capitalize on retarded redditors only works if you pay off youtubers/other redditors to shill some bullshit as being the best thing ever that everyone should own. After that it's all luck.
stocks, etc.
there's nothing you can buy off the shelf or off ebay that is guaranteed to go up in price past your initial investment. It's all meme bullshit that spikes in price and retards are tricked into buying it. see >crts, old pcs, etc.

It doesn't represent 99% of goods
It doesn't represent any good not even collector items.
Collectors item merely hold their original launch value at best or it just gradually depreciates over the years until nobody cares about it anymore.
All of the shit that explodes in value are just fronts for ponzi-like schemes, money laundering and tax evasion by rich people.
>reddit spacing
>confident wrongness

geforce now works fine you just need to be able to maintain required speed, latency matters less than bandwidth
You are really out of touch with technology if you think this lol... Cloud gaming will be widespread in less than 5 years
Only in tiny euro countries and japan
toilet paper
Garage sale cpus and graphics cards. Going to a scrapper and taking the cpus and ram sticks for a few bucks.
There isn't anything that will 100% increase in value just buy stuff for a few dollar each and flip on ebay or craigslist.
Lenovo L580 and Lenovo L480, but it's only relatively cheap though.
Hardware samplers, CD players, and SCSI CD drives
brand is everything
