Boring Waggie Job+getting high off the clock
trying to fill an unfillable hole in life. the answer is porbably God (unironically) but I'm still working onthat.
also I just love solos like in Summer Breeze
autism
this
Music bombards me with overwhelming mental imagery beyond my control. Colors, motion, sometimes scenes. It has since I was very little, maybe as long as I can remember. I have not been able to find anyone else who experiences this. Often I can't listen to music while trying to focus or work because it is so overstimulating. Hard to work when you are experiencing extreme ASMR-like physical sensations and vivid, intrusive, impossible to ignore mental imagery.
Plenty of people experience synesthesia, they're just told to shut up about it by those who don't.
Has it cost plenty of people their jobs?
unironically, probably autism
>great for tuning out outside world
>i'm mostly into /bleeps/ because I love synthetic sound and repetition makes my brain feel good
>you can put on headphones and bob your head like a retard in public without people giving you weird looks
I grew up wanting to be a musician but I'm tone deaf so now I long for what I can never have
i like how it sounds and i enjoy making it and analyzing it
its in my blood
every person i know on my moms side of the family is a musician to varying degrees of success and im trying to follow in their footsteps
ADHD; my brain sucks at normal reward pathways and music gives me much needed dopamine
I find it weird that people's stereotype of ADHD is liking 30 second TikTok songs; I actually prefer 10 to 20 minute prog songs because they're so dynamic and have so much going on that they stimulate me much more effectively. If I can predict the chord progressions in a song, it bores me, lmao
It just goes well with everything i do. I have music for when i'm skateboarding, i have music for when i paint, and i have music for when i'm working. I have sex to music. I even have music for when i sleep. It helps me get lost in my zone and i just listen to the music. It drowns out all distractions. I don't think about what i'm doing, i just do, while entering a state of zen. pure bliss.
gorillaz linking park limp bizkit and korn
it's a hobby that isn't completely frustrating like videogames. and it isn't expensive
The fear of silence.

3 words, Britney Jean Spears.
I just always liked it and was always fascinated by different types of music out there. When I was younger, I imagined a crazy world of music that I just didn’t know about. It captures my imagination. If you play an instrument, it only enhances your appreciation for music and adds new depths.
it helps me forget about the abuse and the beatings
