I wash my hair everyday because i train and they get sweaty and dirty. Ive started growing my hair and ive noticed that shampoo makes it very dry, is there any alternative that doesnt cost a lot of money?

I wash my hair every other day with a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo. When I shampoo, I first apply the shampoo to my wet hair, then I lather it in really good, then I let it sit for a minute. After that I start rubbing it in really hard, scratching my hair, everything to break up the crusty stuff on my scalp. I then let it sit for a few more minutes before rinsing off. Then I do my bodywashing, facial skincare, and all that. Then I repeat the shampooing process.

So every other day, two applications per shampooing.

Was doing it once a week because of how frizzy and curly my hair is but I started doing it once very 3rd day and my hair feels a lot better and has more volume.

Use ketokonazol champoo whenever it itches
Lots of guys have the same problem so your farmacist will know about and will have what you’re asking and since you don’t need a prescription (it’s hecking champoo), he or her will hook you right up

I use 2% ketoconazole once a week. It just works. Might take a while to kill it all though because I’m on year 2 right now. If I stop for a week I see flakes coming back.

Shower every day and use just water, once or twice a week use shampoo and conditioner. My stylist lady said I should only be shampoo/conditioner 3 times a week max if I remember correctly.

How greasy is your hair using this method. I can’t not wash my hair when I shower I don’t know why but I may try your method. I wash and condition every day.

Not very greasy, only shampoo condition when I notice it is, which could start on day 3-4 or maybe more like 5. I’ve got pretty good genetics and also your body gets used to not using shampoo conditioner as much so it produces less oil. YMMV

I wash my hair every other day, with soap, not shampoo, because I’m not a woman. All you need is your regular bar of soap to clean your hair. It’s not going to kill you. What’s going to kill your hair is shampoo, which is nothing more than detergent. Stop falling for marketing scams that jsut want you to consoome products for their own profit. If it’s good enough for your skin, then it’s good enough, even better, for your hair, especially compared to shampoo.

wash hair with a little bit of 2 in 1 every other day
smells good, looks neat on wash days
doesn’t smell, looks nicely disheveled on the other days
i do this because i am lazy. i know 2 in 1 and 3 in 1 products are supposed to be shit for some reason, and i have gone through periods of no-poo (baking soda and apple cider vinegar, or just water), and of using more expensive shampoo and conditioner, but this is my favorite way and it’s cheap

I wash my hair every night with conditioner (pic related) and use shampoo once every 3 weeks. I have dry straight/wavy hair.

I exercise and sweat 6 days a week, but only wet & wash my hair once every four days. I have thick, dense curly hair that has responded well to this frequency. Days 1 and 2 post-wash my hair looks great. Days 3 and 4 start to look a bit unkempt to me, though I still receive compliments from girls on my hair.

      ill try
ive got thick dry curls so i use cantu shampoo/conditioner. doing this every 3-4 days seems to give the best results, similar to what reports. also this interval lines up nicely with how often i need to shave my face.
i shave after i get out the shower so by the time im done shaving, dressing, deodrants and moisterisers etc. my hair is not dripping anymore but still damp. its here when i use some cantu coconut cream to help style and define. then i just let it air dry (towel-dry on frizzy hair just makes it worse) and go about starting my day.

i rinse it with cold water twice a week. i only use shampoo if it actually gets dirty because it gives me dandruff. inb4 "you smell bad". dont care.

Water every shower, (generally daily). Shampoo never. Only if I get motoroil or something in my hair. No dandruff, not oily. I have incredibly thick hair as well

I’d also like to add that once I grew my hair for 10 years and it was down to my knees and I also only ever used water once a week or less to wash it

This isn’t an issue for me, I don’t necessarily fully wash my hair for minutes in water, but maybe put head under the shower for a second, then run my wet hands through it, then rinse

Wash every 3 or 4 days. After shower dermaroll and use serum. Day after use black lipstick to fix hairline. Day after powder with eyeshadow and redo black lipstick. Repeat until next shower.

Daily with a very nice shampoo. I condition pretty rarely and the stuff I use is perfectly fine for daily use.

I hear some people shower when they wake up and then again when they get home, but showering twice in one day sounds like hell on your skin. Maybe I’m just lucky that I don’t sweat like shit at night.

Wash with soap maybe once every 3-4 months. My hair is long and curly, comes to mid back these days. And no it’s not some lank slimy mess.

I’ve washed my hair with only conditioner for like a decade. Never have any buildup and never have dandruff. Dandruff is just flakes of skin coming off your dry scalp. Don’t dry out your scalp with soaps and your scalp won’t flake

I wash my hair once a week. Presently, I am using the Verb Ghost line. The night before wash day I saturate my head in Mielle Rosemary Mint oil.
