What are the best teas for relaxing the mind and body and aiding with sleep, meditation, reading the bible, vivid / lucid dreams etc?
WHAT IS THE MOST SPIRITUAL TEA?

Best herb for tea
Nice, I've never heard of this. I've had some damiana which is from Mexico and S America, it tastes nice but that's about it. Gona try lavender now, which is the purple tea in the pic lol. Will look up Flor de Tila now
Sleep sweet, anon.
UPDATE:
I did. I slept for 12 hours and had multiple lucid dreams. I had 4 tablespoons of lavender steeped in 1 litre of boiling water lol
Lavender is nice, but it gave me man tits when I drank it daily for not long. Plants from the cloud forrest and equator are different, stronger but simpler than northern plants. They just hit you hard and tila does that the best.
A drink from the wells of salvation
hibiscus
although if you're asking for actual teas maybe oolong
I avoid caffeine lol. I'm asssuming oolong has caffeine? I actually saw hibiscus in the herb shop today. I didn't know if it was good though. I got lavender. Just made a pot of it and so far it's not purple like pic rel. annoying lol
If you're a man, don't drink too many herbal teas. Hibiscus is ok because it doesn't disrupt your hormones, but stuff like lavender and sage does.
Tea, as in actual tea from the camellia sinensis plant, always contains caffeine in various amounts. It's healthy, but if you are sensitive just drink it occasionally.
I actually read about this earlier. In some young boys they studied, they had gynecomastia temporarily until they stopped drinking it... I'm trying it as we speak though and it's delicious so that's a shame lol. I'll try some hibiscus tomorrow. Looks and sounds delicious lmao
It's a deep burgundy color, almost like drinking blood
I love cranberry juice so this appeals to me. Also blood. JK, I hate the antichrist
funfact, all rosehip teas have hibiscus mixed into them for color and taste
Lol I saw rosehip in the shop earlier as well. I should have just bought everything. They have massive buckets full of dried herbs and you just help yourself and it's cheap as fuck. I'm really enjoying this lavender but I don't want to grow bitch-tits
Pls help me sir
>Just made a pot of it and so far it's not purple like pic rel.
That pic is likely butterfly pea tea, it makes a beautiful blue tea that turns purple when exposed to acid (typically lemon juice). Said to be anti-inflammatory and helpful for skin and hair health. Tastes bretty good.
But regular tea and before you take a simply believe it's perfect tea from the Pleroma. That's gonna do It more than brands.
Chamomile tea is well known for it's relaxing and calming effects, great tea to drink before bed.
It's think one. Drink normal tea not some catpiss soaked weeds yanked out of an insane old lady's yard.
To clean yourself of toxins, Essiac tea is your best bet. A clean colon is a happy colon; a happy colon is a healthier you.
Be sure to use Essiac tea that contains sheep sorrel roots.
>Sheep Sorrel, shoot + root
>Burdock Root
>Slippery Elm Bark
>Turkey Rhubarb Root

Interesting, thanks. Gonna have to list these down and try each one lol. I want to find Blue Lotus
Mugwort gives you crazy dreams and helps you sleep.
St. John's Wort is a natural antidepressant.
Both can easily be purchased in a loose form and made into teas.
When I tried it in infusions it did great but its also an anti-convulsion, anti-parasite (thujone asphixyate worms and multicellular organisms in your stomach) and you can even smoke it like tobacco or weed, in fact some sources say online its used instead of weed or tobacco in some parts of mexico and used to be largely used by mariners and sailors who gave it the name "sailor's tobacco"
I smoked it, its a very slight buzz, not entirely sure if its linked to just inhaling smoke and the asphyixtion buzz but it is a smooth flowery and tasty white haze that does seem to give a slight higher euphoria and visualisation if you ask me, better if combined with weed for buzzing though ofc. Apparently smoking it is good for the dream causing effect as well.
Do you need to prepare it for smoking?
I like Egyptian Blue Lotus tea. It helps with lucid dreaming, and relaxation, and reduces anxiety.
I need to get my grubby mitts on it. There's some in this shop in Australia and it's $50 for 50g...
Pretty sure that's a retarded price haha, it would have to be worth it
I know it's available online, here in the U.S.
brutal price, but if it's genuine it had to travel 13k kilometers to get there while well protected from the elements. There's probably good alternatives from asia which must be a lot cheaper.
blue tea
what's that cigarette water looking thing
galaxy in a glass
DMTea.
Chili tea
You soak macerated habaneros in alcohol, pulling multiple times until all the capsaicin is drawn out of the peppers. Then soak tobacco leaves in the alcohol with a fan on it to let the alcohol evaporate. Then you smoke the tobacco. Ur gonna have an out of body experience let me tell you hwhat
Hyssop
Psalm 51
Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean
Sage Tea:
Take three teaspoons of sage leaves, pour 250 ml of boiling water over them, leave to brew for 15 minutes, strain and drink two cups a day for several weeks.
It is also best to drink two cups of sage tea a day as a preventative measure if you are not yet suffering from hot flushes.
good thread but lacking
>rose
well-being, love
>poinsietta
another amazing dream tea. declared toxic by "mistake" in 1919, a myth still upheld
>sideritis/mountain tea
sacred
>Catharanthus roseus/bright eyes
divination
Green tea is a classic go-to. Brown rice tea is also v good.
kratom
Oh none because they are super accumulators of fluoride... Unless the tea was grown with unfluoridated water.. You're sort of shooting yourself in the foot.
That's a trap
you know its only usa who fluroidate the water right?
blue lotus + calea zacatechichi with real royal honey, and unpasturized raw milk
Yerba mate in a French press. Crazy dreams.
Or make slow brew black tea using hot tap water (scalding hot) instead of boiling. You have to brew it for 30 minutes. Brewing longer extracts all the l-theanine, and the caffeine effect is different. Way less jittery, more like taking adhd meds that increase focus.
Based tea-tread
I am OP, and I thank you
Also you can make tea of hallucigenic shrooms (Psilocybe mushrooms, Amanita Muscaria, Claviceps purpurea...).
It is a hard and short trip.
And put lemon juice in the tea.
Pic related
Truffles or shrooms. Both are ok.
Interesting. I would rather drink a tea than eat mushrooms that's for sure
Combination Mexican dream weed, valerian root, chamomile, lavender, melatonin or tart cherry juice(natural melatonin), wild dagga, and maybe a couple more admixes.
I haven't tried melatonin yet. I've tried valerian extract but didn't notice anything. I definitely did from the lavender though
gotta eat valerian
I want to try it in tea form but can't find it. About to try nettle leaf though. Hopefully it's as good as lavender without the bitch-tits formation
Yorkshire Tea
anyone fuck with kava?
Tulsi
I have some of this from an Indian grocery store that I use to make Ethiopian clarified butter. What is it like as tea?
